  2. Thanks, our numbers are from Stacy but observer sheets from another supplier. I realised it is the obs sheets we are paying a high price for.
  3. Just wondering what others are paying for riders numbers and observer sheets?? And where are you getting them from ?? Sorting our clubs affairs and it seems we are paying a lot of money out for some paper / card ?? Maybe I'm out of touch ?? We are AMCA affiliated. Thanks in advance..
  4. Probably nothing to do with Trials that finished them. More than likely loss of the BMW dealership was the start of it.
  5. Often wondered why there isn't a new twinshock available. Obviously the subject has been touched upon with the Cotswolds a few years ago.Possibly the supply of engines dried up as the latest offering from Cotswold is powered by a pit bike engine. I observed at our trial on Sunday and there were a few twinshocks performing well in mucky conditions, a couple of sorted TY 175/ 200s and a 250. Good to see them .
  6. Is anyone here using a Wes exhaust on a Bantam, have you a picture of it? Does the silencer sit at an angle sloping downwards ??

    Ty Mono Shirt Disc

A decent bike shop should be able to match the pads if you take a pattern in to them , I think EBC have a pattern book. Not sure about the disc.
  8. Herefordshire Classic trials club(AMCA) will be holding a special event on Sunday 27th April. The trial will be a charity event in aid of Mike Ruck who tragically lost his life in February last year. Mike was one of the founding members of the club in 2004 and held the position of Secretary until his untimely death. The club will be donating the proceeds to The Longtown Mountain Rescue service. The trial will be at the popular Bowley venue (Waterfall) with a choice of 2 routes. and sections will be laid out with classic bikes in mind. Classes are all Brit, Twinshock, Aircooled mono and Over 50s on modern monos. If however anyone turns up on a machine which does not fall in to the criteria you will not be turned away. If you bring an observer you will get a free ride. The trial will be signposted off the A49 and 417 at Dinmore, 10.30 am start. For more info call Malcolm Herbert (01432) 271560. See you there.

    Scorpa Clutch

Most bikes will do this when left for a long period, just the plates have dried out. Every time you run it get it warm and make sure it is free. Nothing to worry about unless it won't free off.
  10. Try finding a dog for that money now ??

    Lost Tlr Thread

I think it was started by Old Trials Fanatic, although there is a lot of others if you search.

  15. If you want some 32mm Showa forks from a Honda TLR there are some on here...... http://www.willbrown.co.uk/adz/
  16. Thanks, just picked this up. Getting a phosphor bronze bush machined for timing side. Mentioned other parts in other thread.
  17. Thanks.. Charlie The piston / bore is good as is luckily, clutch is shot one gear and selector forks, as is cam 2 valves and guides, will price up clutches, also a few bushes. Amals seem a bit of a lottery from what I have seen, or if they work they don't last long. When will we ever learn to leave it alone.
  18. Did you suss out which is the best cam for a distributor engine Woody, my engine is stripped I need a cam, along with a list of other stuff.
  19. Not a Rob Homer exhaust, looks like a 3 speed with those outer cases. If it is 3 speed I'd say 1500 / 1600 tops.
  20. Spot on but I'll raise your 5k to 6 +. Don't do it if you have doubts this early on, how much are you hoping to do it for ?????
  21. Sorry Jon no pics, you didn't miss much unless you are into evo mx.
  22. Got some advice at Telford. Using std gearbox 18 tooth primary, 14 tooth front spkt and 60 rear. Use std piston, n ot flat top and if I want to lower comp slightly use a 2nd base gasket.
  23. Hi, where did you find the cam sprocket?? thanks
  24. I want to stick to 250cc so won't use Triumph piston.
