I bet he wished he kept a box back now though. If only, we've all been there.

  5. There is a Gasgas reed block and manifold listed on ebay tonight.
  6. I will be there, not far from us. Need to sort some parts for the Majesty. Who would have thought it 12 months gone by again. It's frightening

I have emailed the seller through ask a question and let him know about this thread.
  9. Hey g4321 I worked in the bike trade back in the day and I was at Merton College (bike tecs) when the FT500 was launched it was crap. Folks shoe horned the XL500 lump in to an RS and that was what Honda should have built. Happy days.
  10. Good luck to any T C users on the list. Is it me or would you bet your weeks wage that certain "names" will be on the list whatever. Whilst others struggle to get a look in. I am not refering to any one on TC. You know who I mean . Wait for it.
  11. Its not a TLR. It is a British framed special I think. Those forks look like TY mono forks to me. Edit. I think the motor is out of an XL250s . the one with a 23 inch front wheel.
  12. The language bit is easy. You just shout in English and put O on the end of the odd word. It tends to work when on holiday. Scorchio

Sorted the Fuel tap off Steve Goode. Any idea which folding tip gear lever is used on the Seeley. Also anything unobtainable and therefore would not be a good idea to damage if you get my drift as I am going to start to use the bike hopefully regularly now.
  14. Woody why don't you send the Spanish bloke Euros registered post or do a Internatioinal Bank transfer, you need his International details to sort it. Or failing that if he uses ebay he can send you a Paypal invoice. It's a small world nowadays when it comes to moving money around,
  15. If you do not sort a club to join Steve Saunders may be able to sign and stamp your ACU registration form etc. When you attend the school there is an ACU form to fill in so speak to him and he may be able to sort it. It does not matter where the club is based that you join you only need the form to be stamped and signed to get the ball rolling. I attended his school last year its a good day. Enjoy...
  16. I have seen the one from The Cotswolds at a trial in Gloucestershire a while back now though.

Thanks B J. It definately says Ewarts on mine though. I Googled the name and came across a Villiers spares website with similar taps named Ewarts. I thought it was something to do with Harry Potter.
  18. Sorry as I touched on this subject last year but I could not find the subject in the search facility . The Seeley fuel tap is leaking again. It has Ewarts name on it and it is the pull out type with a twist for reserve. I have had it apart this time and there is a felt type seal in it that gives no resistance when you turn it on, the felt type material has obviously dried out. I have soaked it in petrol to try to bring it back to life but no joy. I saw Steeve Goode did a tap for the Seeley but has nothing listed at present. But the tap he had listed did not look like this one. Has any one here fitted a different tap or found the Ewart parts? seal etc. Thanks in advance. PS the bike is one of the last ones built.
  19. Well done OTF Hard luck to the others. As for the ones heading to Spain. You lucky b******s...
  20. Good trial after all. Mainly same sections as last year. Good to see some pre 65 bikes out . About 50 riders. They are going to do 4 trials in 08 I think.

Whatever you do dont take it off road. I saw one at a trial on Sunday, I think it was a Nissan on a slight gradient fairly hard standing wet on surface compacted mud. Pathetic, he was struggling to get out. Are these things actually 4 wd. People were p****ing them selves. Don't be a slave to the craze that everybody and their dog has a big useless 4wd pick up. Unless of course you have a valid reason to drive one (99% of owners do not) Wait for it!!!!

There was another copy for sale but the seller stopped the sale. I think it was over
  23. Any one here hoping to go to H C T C trial at Clyro on Sunday ?? I noticed they have dropped the O 40 and O 50 mono classes. It was a good do last year but I think it is a mistake dropping the classes mentioned.

Some 70s 2 strokes had another plug fitted, I remember Suzuki TS and Kawasaki KE models had them. Idea was if you oiled a plug just change it over. A period thing, nothing to worry about. There was a blank plug like a drain plug fitted if you did not want a spare plug.
  25. If you are called out tonight or any other night have a look on the side of the tow truck and see how to spell breakdown.
