as above,, the scorpa is a very good starter bike, i should know i had one for a few years, but try and blag a ride on as many bikes as possible its the only way you will know whats best for you
-
cannot see it in the UK !!!!!!!!!
-
never seen an for the rev3 but if you spend a little time in cleaning and putting the stickers on properly they should last ages, ive put them on my evo and still like new after 18 months
-
why dont you give Malcolm Rathmell (sherco importer) a call he would have been the importer at that time i think, you never know he might have some information about them still
-
come now Brian admit it it was you who fell off wasn't it
-
I and didnt you do well Mr Kinell only dropping 6 marks not bad for a old duffer on his return after nearly 4 years away next stop SSDT next year !!!
-
-
so how would you collect membership fees when the trial is a centre trial,as lots of riders will just say im a member of another club etc etc I am a membership secretary for my club and dont understand why anyone would find getting the ACU licence difficult, you fill in the form which is available on most clubs websites or the ACU'S site, send/give it to the secretary of your chosen club with the membership monies, simplles really isnt it IF ITS NOT BROKEN DONT FIX IT
-
more like a queue to the nearest beta dealer
-
should be a very good night's fun if its anything like last years events and even a chance of winning a prize on the night,
-
Whilst i cannot answer the first question for sure, last time i visited the ssdt was in 2005 there was small amount of traders selling trials related gear, but for the whisky there is quite a few shops in and around fort bill which will have many a good single malt to be found, but beware the price difference can be vast !! depends on what you call a very good malt !! as the local Morrisons will be cheaper than the highstreet shops for most good single malts ie jura, glenmorrangie etc,

all SY's are 250cc, the same engine was used for all variants of the SY (YAMAHA TYZ ENGINE) the engine is pretty bullet proof, just make sure that the airbox is kept clean, as the carb is a little difficult to remove, also if not already done grind of the corner of the engine number as it wears a hole in the centre silencer, all in all they are a good bike ideally suited to a clubman rider, I had one for 3 years and apart from usual wear parts, the only thing i had trouble with was a new rear brake master cylinder
-
like other posts make sure the rims are spotlessly clean and warm the rim and tapes with the wifes/girlfriends hairdryer, mine have been on for a few month now with no sign of them peeling off
-
at the end of the day, it doesn't matter how you observer the section as long as you treat all the riders the same, then whats the problem !!
but as usuall there is always one big mouth who can do a better job than the observer isn't there (BEN)
I have observed at numerous world rounds including last years at Fort Bill and up until that event i can safely say that I have really enjoyed it, But the level of abuse I recieved from idiots in the crowd was truely amazing or should I say appalling, I have been asked to observer again at this years event, but dont feel like I really want to put myself through it again, and it doesn't help the cause for clubs up and down the country to get willing helpers to man the sections at all levels of trials when muppets are posting such crap about them on forums like this.
So once and for all Ben shut the f*** UP and if you really care about your sport give up some of your free time and help out observing at some of the uk champ rounds
-
its crazy the prices charged for a mudguard, when you can get a full set of plastics for a MX bike for about
-
fairly sure that the 08 plastics will fit, but give Beta uk a ring they will know for sure and they aren't far away from you as they are in Silsden, you might change your mind when they tell you how much for a full set of plastic's though, back mudguard will be at least
-
see www.bradfordtrials.org they are on there for download
-
dont like them theres way too much black on them, its needs some white plastics, but yes forks are nice
-
ex road biker, who thought it would be a good idea to stop riding on the road before i killed myself or was killed, but had to still have a bike of some sort, so trials seemed a good idea
-
there wont be anything put on the Bradford web site as the person who updates the site is on Holiday, a couple of club member's visited rough holden yesterday and its just not possible to run the trial safely,
i have put a piece on this site in the news section of the cancellation also Wetherby Bottle trial is cancelled as well
-
try this http://www.betatrialuk.com in technical info it gives all frame numbers
-
have you had a look at the nissan x-trail they have been around for quite a while now and you can get them for little money now, ive done 150k in mine now and still going strong, plus you can use the normal rack as the spare is stored in the boot floor
-
unfortunately in the UK most of us cannot afford to run the F250 or such like trucks as our fuel prices are far higher than yours in the USA, so the best option for us is the Navara type size of truck
-
well your profile states that you are only 16 years old and you ride a evo 290cc !!! correct me if im wrong but shouldn't you only be riding a 125cc bike in comp's
-
not a problem i dont like GASSER'S either but you didn't answer my question on riding ?
