  2. Hot news Graham Jarvis has been awarded a licence to promote a world round in 2009 around the Penrith area on the 17th of may 2009 this is supposedly a press release from the FIM i really hope that Graham can pull this off as the last few years at Hawkstone have been good and its a shame that there isn't one on the main land this year theres a bit more info on bradfordtrials.co.uk but im sure there will be more news in other places on the web

they can't get the hanbook correct anyway..... its states that the blue flags shpould be placed on the right and red on the left doh
  6. 270 can be a handfull would be better with a 250 but see if you can blag a ride on all makes then make your mind up
  7. phb replied to turnerboys's topic in Scorpa
its under the centre section of exhaust but to see it is a load of work as you will need to strip out all the exhaust, rear subfame, air box and rear shock if you do all this file away the corner of the casing were the middle exhaust sits so that it doesn't wear through the exhaust
  8. a friend carried his scorpa on a rack on a 306 he had to put spring assisters on the rear as the car sat very low, but technically you would be breaking the law as the car isn't rated to carry 75kg on the tow bar, i believe that you can tow a bike trailor no problem even though you have only had your licence 5 years, the law was designed to stop you towing large caravans and trailers i think..........so check on the dvla web site on max weight you are allowed.......as for the autobars rack's they are very good value and well made
  9. phb replied to montman's topic in Scorpa
check the centre silencer as these split as..... they rest on the engine casing but you will have to take it off as its on the underside where they usally go
  10. ive just paid my tenner..... worth every penny, excellent videos of sheffield

  12. phb replied to copemech's topic in USA Trials
no i think its a beaver
  13. i always put front wheel into rack first by lifting the actual wheel up not via the handlebars...... then the bike easily pivots around and its very easy to place the back wheel into the rack..... this is the best method ive found with little effort, or even better get a trailer... i suffer from a bad back so always ride with a sports support on now
  14. better had finish for a change im setting it out ..... better put a couple of harder ones in just for you
  15. you will have to show me this one Kinell ...... are you going to rough holden on sunday ? first round of beginers & novice trials.......just up your street !!!
  16. phb replied to davh's topic in Beta
lovely dog but eddie could do with one (not to eat) just to guide him around the sections he must be blind if he thinks the beta is not the nicest trials bike ever
  17. i just clean the silencer with some wd or similar, then ring John Lampkin's i know they supply cartridge inserts for the rev 3 so will probably do one for a techno
  18. technically you are actually breaking the law as you are putting more weight than is allowed on the towbar by the manufacturer and you could invalidate any warranty on the vehicle, If a memeber of our finest (plod) new the law and pulled you, you could be prosecuted but this is highly unlikely. as stated by others, lots of riders carry there bikes on racks with no problems, and generally the highest nose weight on normal cars such as mondeos and the like is 75 kg or on smaller cars around 50kg.

have you checked that the head stock bearings are ok.... mite need to tighten the top nut a little to take up any slack in the bearings also make sure there is some good quality grease in there as well
