THE GLOVES MITE BE CHEAP BUT NOT WHEN YOU HAVE PAID TO GET IN THE SHOW AND THE COST OFF ACTAULLY GETTING THERE THAT MAKES THE GLOVES THE MOST EXSPENSIVE EVER !!!!!

it all depends on personell preferences but i would stay with the 250 i had a go on a 300 and found it running away with me and trying to pull my arms out of the sockets, but it all depends on what you want from your bike and how good a rider you are i know a top class rider (wont name him) who rides GASGAS and even he says that the 300 is too powerful for him and prefers the softer power delivery of the 250. but see if you can get a test ride and see for yourself

i had PJ1 in at first them swapped to Repsol but have found ever since i swapped finding neutral is more difficult i have been told to use ATF by lots of beta riders so going to try on next oil change

the average entry for the last 2 years has been 70 riders which is very poor considering the history of this trial it does attract some of the best riders within the uk but not as many as it should do especially clubmen riders

over the last few years this famous trial has seen less and less riders entering why ? is it down to it only having one route for experts and clubman ? do you think it would see a better entry if there was 2 routes as a lot of people ive spoken to wont ride it as its too hard for the average clubmen rider on the single route course. it would be very interesting for all to share there views on this

some of the expert riders where nearly finishing there second lap before we even saw any championship riders at the last few sections on there first lap, So some riders got on with the trial while quite a few hung around way to long. the actaul riding time in all sections is under 70 mins and they were given 5hrs 30 mins to complete the trial, dont you think that is more than enough time to get round as it wasnt a big lap with massive distance's between sections i you dont want time penalties get a move on in future and it would be a better trial if the riders actaully attempted the sections instead of asking for loads of 5's just because they had wasted time earlier in the trial and all you lot complaining about the time it took to get the results done just remember that stuart and all the other people involved from bradford club and various other clubs have a life too and they spent a hell of a lot of time up at skyrakes setting this trial out and without these dedicated people who give up there own time for free and the love of the sport there woudnt be any trials

it took the championship riders over 4 hours to reach section 12 on the first lap so if they were short of time, they can only blame themselves for messing about, as far as im concerned some riders in all class's spoilt a very good trial in asking for 5's all because they took far too long on there first lap, im very glad that the weather was good as we spent from 9.30 until after 5.00pm stood out at the sections waiting for them to finish

they probably mean addingham moorside at silsden theres lots of very big rocks there ypu pay the farmer not sure how much it is as ive not been up there for a while

they are just great and they also spark when you bash them into rocks (COOL) or what. ive had my pegs on for over 12 months now and still like brand new also got the hangers which are a work of art. standard hangers for the beta are CRAP and made out of toffee !!!! i broke one after about 2 weeks of having the bike, there is no clearence problems with the captive nut as its flush with the back of the hanger now. go and buy the set they are worth the money and you can always take them with you when you swap bikes

good choice BETA'S are just great i started with an old TYZ good bike built like a tank, then got a SCORPA that was a nice bike but nowhere near as good as Beta woudn't change to any other make now. hope you enjoy it

try IRC great if slippy conditions or Dunlops seem quite popular now i think Scorpa fit them as standard

i run a beta 250 o5 model and have been told not to use oil on the air filter but WD40 and have always done this and it runs really good, when i used proper filter oil i found it run very rich

no i wasnt there and i wasnt saying that you was putting dougie down either, but in general some of the british public and especially the press love to have a go when things aren't go well for all of our sportsmen and women.

saturday promises to be very good but if its anything like last year i woudn't miss the actual trial as it was awsome but i will be there from the friday so i will see it all its ACE

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH SANDIFORDS WE SHOULD ALL BE GIVING DOUGIE AS MUCH SUPPORT AS POSSIBLE AT HAWKSTONE AND ANY OTHER ROUNDS YOU GO TO SEE PEOPLE SHOULD REMEMBER WHAT DOUGIE HAS DONE IN THE PAST HE IS PROBABLY THE BEST TRIALS RIDER THERE WILL EVER BE AND THE PRESSURE HE IS UNDER WILL BE FAR GREATER THAN EVER TO GET THE TITLE AGAIN. ITS A SAD BRITISH MENTALITY TO ALWAYS PUT DOWN OUR STARS OF ANY SPORT WHEN THINGS AREN'T ALWAYS GOING FOR THEM
