  2. I had a 03 scorpa no real problems but as other's stated middle exhaust can split, its worth a little time to grind lump of engine case so that it clears
  3. had a pair of stone 2's for a few years now still excellent not like my novgar boots which lasted about a year before sole was gone
  4. might not be as stroppy !!! but will wont to change all the sections

    What Model ?

if my memory is correct dougie started to ride for montesa in 2000 so the last dougie replica beta would have been a techno 1999 spec, 2002/03 beta would be a rev 3 and dougie was riding monts then so it might be a 315 spec mont,
  9. yes just turn up,,, are you a member of any clubs yet and have you got a ACU licence.

    Queues

I think you have missed the joke and point in BDMC,s post, there is no way of implementing a rule against leaving engines running
  12. SEE TSR 22 IT CLEARLY STATES THAT if any wheel of the machine crosses the boundary tape or marker whether the wheel be on the ground or airbourne before the front wheel spindle passes the section end sign, which is a failure so a 5 should be awarded,
  13. I had a rider lying on his side on rocks at Hawkstone in 2007 so gave him a five he wasn't very happy about it quite a lot of choice words about my family and myself was hurled in my direction, until i went for the yellow card, he soon departed the section, and even came and said sorry on his second lap rules are rules and as long as you mark all riders the same it shoudn't matter how you score them.

    Rev 3 Fork Oil

No problem glad to help i made the mistake of looking at the user manual which isnt very clear and put way to much oil in by the time i had put it all back together you would have needed an elephant to compress the forks, I had the worlds first rigid forked Beta
  16. if money is no object get raptors ive had mine for over 3 years now and they are still excellent expensive but the best

  19. VERY CRUEL BUT TRUE,,,,,,EVEN NOW WITH NO BIKE HE WALKS THE SECTION AND STILL GETS A FIVE
  20. have a look at there website www.horsforthtrials.co.uk the trial on sunday states easy, which normally means clubman 50/50 which is a mixture of clubman and hard course, and hard course(experts) so it could be a little on the hard side for your first trial, it doesn't state that there is a beginners course. as its your first taste of trials comp's i woudn't recommend it as it might put you off entering again, but go along and ask the organisers if it would be suitable
  21. MAKE SURE YOU DO THE ACTUAL BEGINEERS COURSE AS HORSFORTH USUALLY RUN QUITE A FEW COURSES AND THE BEGINNERS IS NORMALY NICE AND EASY, MAIN THING IS TO ENJOY IT AND WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF TRIALS LOOK OUT FOR BRADFORD & DISTRICT TRIALS AS THEY ALSO RUN A CHAMPIONSHIP FOR BEGINEERS WHICH THE 2009 SERIES SHOULD BE STARTING FAIRLY SOON
  22. i believe that they should be doing some sort of deals on the tickets in december according to there web site
  23. I Believe that bradford & district has one in june as well
  24. best reply so far i watched dougie at the last british round at skyrakes and he is by far much better than the so called up and coming riders within the UK and until the likes of brownie and Dabbil can start to beat him on a regular basis, i think he should carry on riding in the WTC and especially in the british champoinship, He has nothing to prove in any competion's as his record speaks for its self and in my eyes he is the best trials rider the world has ever seen (up to current)
