i always thought that a GASGAS was a proper bike, besides Dids has rode for Beta a few years ago or had you forgot that,
p.s do you ride in ACU affilated events ?
-
2 weeks is nothing, still waiting for my new pick up 16 weeks now
-
also Alan Jefferies run by Bradford & DMC its a 1 lap road based trial around the Yorkshire dales run in july
-
JUST HEARD THAT THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANGE TO WORLD ROUNDS NEXT YEAR 30-31ST JULY WILL BE THE DATES FOR A WORLD ROUND IN FORT BILL AGAIN INSTEAD OF THE TDN
-
not heard of anybody offering discounts for trials gear, but someone may no better, i think you will find most dedicated riding gear for trial's extremely expensive,
-
Navara also has the biggest load bed as well,, new shape L200 bed is very small unless you go for the new long bed version.
-
yes no problem doesn't need to have ACU approval
-

go to your local trial event and talk to the riders, most will let you have ago on there bikes, try as many as possible then you can make your own mind up 92,93 bikes will have had a hard time so try and get something newer
-
my god 6 months warranty !!!! if its anything like the old Scorpa importer (crosser's) it wont be worth bugger all i hope you like pulling the engine in bits regular as according to a rider i know he likes how the gasser rides but is sick of pulling the engine apart, and wish's he stuck with the Beta
-
you must have been extremely unlucky I had a 05 rev3 for 5 years and only problem was stator now got 2010 evo and absolutley no problems, as for customer service you wont beat John Lampkin and Beta UK, I hope you have better luck with the Gasser and Shirty !!!
-
last rumour i heard was Browny has full works ride at Beta !! but time will tell
-
start above Cowling Cragg down across fields into Cragg 6 sections then back to start to refuel, along top road towards Town end farm then onto private track into Lumb water falls 10 sections in lumb then onto Townend farm access from main road, 4 sections in town end farm then back to start for another full lap, so there is no way you could ride the trial without using public roads, and it might be agianst the rules of the trial to carry your bikes between sections in a van etc, You would need to check with your Club to see if this is allowed ?
-
If we are going to run the trial again on the 5th the plan will to use the same route so that we can link the three venues together, unfortunately this is the only way we can use all the venues, so unless we cannot get permissions in place there will be road work involved,
Nathan and other club members have put a lot of time and effort into getting this trial sorted out and it would be a great shame to not run this event, I believe the club did the right thing in calling off the trial as the rivers were extremely high and far too dangerous for anybody to attempt to cross them and a large majority of sections were underwater.
-
hi where abouts in sweden are you i get to Karlstad on a regular basis but unfortunately with out the bike
-
have you had a look at the wulf boots very much like diadora's but much cheaper by all counts made by same company so should be pretty good
-
Hi Ben Bradford & DMC have a trial on this saturday for begineers & novice riders in Cowling which isnt very far away, You are most welcome to come along and have a go
-
how much is your head worth ? get the best you can afford,
-
just travelled to fort william and back with mine on rack, no problems, tie mine down similar to other posts but also put a ratchet strap over centre of bike from right footrest to rack at the towbar point, doing this also compresses the rear suspension a little which helps to keep it really stable,
-
problem with that, is the rider gets a five he doesn't get to ride the section all because his minder/helpers cheat !!! can you imagine the grief the observers would get from the crowd who had paid good money to see there heroes ride, gas gas and montesa have the same attitude of win at all costs and cheat as much as possible to get there. the amount of helpers etc around there riders is incredible and no matter how much you keep an eye on them they still manage to alter something,
we needed eyes in our backsides and some more else where, to try and stop them!! its impossible we had 4 people on our section (2) on saturday and they still managed to move rocks into the big hole on the large step
-
if the minder hadn't been in the section in the first place (he hadn't been given permission) this incident woudn't have happened, the minder in question was a right pain all day chasing the rider up the sections shouting instructions, the rules are that if the section is deemed that the rider might need the minder to act as a catcher the observer can allow this at his/her discretion, but not for the minder to run through the section, as usual they just take the P!!s
-
like John i was at the observers briefing and actually obsevered on the same section as him on day 1, and quite rightly i had to give a few top riders the benefit of the doudt when my view was obscured by minders in the section, it is very diificult to keep your concentration for 5-6hrs stood in a section watching all the riders go through and also try and keep a eye on there team of helpers (minders, mechanics, team managers, etc ) doing there very best to distract you, and then you have the usuall idiots in the crowd who are shouting crap at you if you miss something,
amazing that they all think that they can do a better job of it, but never offer there services,
all the observers, marshall's, etc all give up there time and for some, considerable expense to help put on the trial for free, because they want to put a little something back into the sport they enjoy
-
have you tried towsure there website says they supply standard type towbars
-
this has been covered many times recently look in forums ,,, mines with Caroll nash
-
