  1. 1st one i agree with 2nd one would be no penalty as its a different routes marker which could be in the same route as a deviation , 3rd no penalty as he didnt actually go out of the course and didnt disloged the marker he only bent it
  2. it's hard enough to get willing volunteers as it is, never mind keep going on about do they know the rules etc, etc for the vast majority of people its all about having a good laugh with your mates and like minded people,
  3. signed it, bloody goverment always want there pound of flesh
  4. I thinks you need to take a chill pill mate I know what the rule book says, and by saying the front wheel stops moving, be it rotating or sliding if it aint doing either its ceased forward movement so same think its a 5 just worded differently,
  5. thats what's so crazy about the rules, your handle bar can touch the ground which basically means you have fallen of but its only a 1 mark (and by touching the ground i dont mean against a rock face)as long as your hand is still on the handle bar, in my eyes if your handle bar is on the ground it should be a 5
  6. its pretty clear as far as I can see in the rule book , if the front wheel stops moving its a five, the only problem is how the observer interprets it, so no matter of showing them will make a jot of difference, all observers will score a section differently, some will favour 1 rider more than another so they will get away with a moments stop whilst others will not. but one thing for sure all this moaning about observers is only going to serve that less and less volunteers turning up to offer their services. I for one have observerd at WTC, BTC and national level, but wont be every doing it again, with either constant crap from the riders or even the crowd being thrown at you, observing is a thankless task we are all just going to have to face it the ACU and others have decided that the BTC and other events are going to be run under NON-STOP this year, so no amount of moaning etc will change it for this year,
  7. just offer your services to the organisers mate, Im sure they will be glad of your help as long as you are consistant with all levels of riders, and you understand the rules , just go for it I have observered at all levels of trials from club right through to WTC, and can safely say I wont be doing anything other than our club trials from know on, its not worth the hassle/ stress, especially with the current arguments with the no-stop etc at National/ BTC level
  8. the method of marking for Centre and West Yorkshire Championship events will be TSR22b (No Stop) Centre and West Yorkshire Championshipn events will have to run a 50/50 coures. No Championship points awarded this was voted in by 14 votes to 9 at the centre AGM this week
  9. wolf sport do some decent trials gear which isnt too bright

yes you can report it to flebay but I doubt that they will do anything, they only wont it to sell so that they can earn extra money
  11. Bradford are also running there Annual Boxing day trial at Howden wood Silsden try the clubman route
  12. its not just clothing we get shafted on as well, lets face it a new rear mudgaurd sets you back £70-£90 for what a bit of flimsy plastic with a few stickers, but you can get a full set of MX bike plastics for about £65 , A pair of flimsy riding pants are over £100 now, etc nearly all trials related parts and clothing are a complete rip off
  13. Cheers Guys, will get in contact with them
  14. Hi all does anybody know of any trials being run over the xmas period up and around the Oban area, I will be up in the area over xmas and the new year and fancy getting a ride in if possible
  15. So what's happening with the WTC ? Is that going the same way !!! now its clear why Y&G wanted non-stop rules, but does the majority of club riders want it(not just Y&G CLUB) Let all ACU trials riders have a vote and then its a fair system, not something which is imposed on them by a few

    No stop

we had our monthly meeting last night and was told about the events at Y&G'S AGM and after a extremely quick discussion, it was agreed that, WE WILL NOT BE CHANGING from TSR22A at this present time, whats more we have not been asked by any of our club members for the rules change What will be more interesting is how the overall membership of Y&G feel about this rule change and how some people are saying it appears to have been included in a hush hush manner at the AGM. The biggest issue I can forsee is that different clubs within the centre will be running trials on different rules and this will make it even harder to find willing observers to man the sections
  17. And I can vouch for him as well he is defo very ODD arent you Pete on a serious note I found the Airoh very comfy on my bonce
  18. its that bloody good our club havent even got the numbers to give to members, as normal ACU !!!!!

  21. thanks for the kind words Gents, this is the 1st round of the Autowbars championship, which is a follow on from the highly popular WBS summer series the sections on the beginners route are set out for the raw Beginners and people coming back to the sport, with a harder route for the more experienced riders who want a challenge without the fear of hurting themselves, which also serves as a platform for riders to take the next step for riding the clubman routes in there local trials. we aim to put quite a few rounds on over the winter months and the next round will be on the 27th November all youth riders are competing to win the Autowbars Trophy on the beginners route, all are welcome to come along and ride, you will find us a very friendly club and most of the time there will be riders/observer's there to offer advise and support to anybody who wants it
  22. youve hit the nail on the head, as long as you mark all the riders the same ,does it really matter how you interpret the rules
  23. I observed this section and fortunately I showed some form of commensence as it was basically impossible for all riders to get up that vertical face without allowing them to back up, without this it would have been fives for all the hard course riders. Its bad enough having to 5 a rider when the just touch a marker and yes Martin did tell Doug to have a go anyway, even though he new the front wheel spindle was snapped, just goes to show Doug still has the urge to win
