anodising isnt tougher than powder coating, anodising is really only a natural layer of oxide dyed to the colour of your choice, in hard anodising the surface is etched but not as robust as powder coat.

I always find gassers very heavy at the front end compared to other bikes, is this something that others experience when changing bikes and is it something that you get used to?

Tim I am inclinded to kinda agree with you, lorenzo is pushing him to the limit, Rossi is a God, but I dont think he will be the same when he comes back, it will depend on his motivation however if he wants to prove the doubters wrong
