I realize that with any new bike there are bugs to work out, but I was not overly impressed with r2ws findings in the test. Not sure why anyone would think other wise. Price aside....
  3. steve fracy replied to axulsuv's topic in Fantic
Glenn: that autograph is from Jean Pierre Goy. He was a trick rider from France who was sponsored by Fantic back in the day. He was one of the first to do the travelling stadium trial show. he was quite good too. Now what do I win
  4. For me, who is the best ever has to be looked at with relativity. The rider who wins the most championships in his era, is the best! No matter what the year, to dominate over a long period of time is very difficult. Dougie and Jordi are the only candidates for best ever! When Bou and Raga are close to or equal in titles, we can argue the point better.
  5. A great day out with a total of 14 vintage riders and there bikes in beautiful sunshine and warm temps! A very slimy, slippery course was tackled by all three classes and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Pictures to come, some will be posted at www.trialscanada.com
  6. Dan who.... and what years were you in the ATAQ
  7. I have geared my 05 4t up as it was unrideable in 1st gear for me and 3rd was just too low for big climbs or long hillclimbs. I changed the rear. I will have a look and let you know what size OK. Steve

Sorry Billy, dont do the whole facebook thing... Old fashioned eh! email, fax, phone, I even talk face to face when necessary!
  9. Spencer: I see you changed your user name from The Goat. What gives, now we are all going to know who you are....
  10. steve fracy replied to ishy's topic in Honda
Billy: I thought you were still down in Quantanamo Bay(sp) with the rest of the detainees..... A Scotsman, posing as a Canadian, living in the USA and sometimes Canada... what gives. Let us know next time you get some internet priveleges again! Steve
  11. If I had that kind of dosh to throw about on a secondary bike, I wouldnt even hesitate! What a beautiful machine, and a very special one too, that would surely hold its value. Oh, and I would ride it for sure! Cheers, Steve

I see they are advertised on Ebay listing them for 3499 UK quid!
  13. Hello there! I am out in sunny and warm Vancouver Island! I have had and still have a couple of Fantics. If you could post a picture or describe the bike to me I can tell you what you have there. steve
  14. Well, seeing at this is a TDN fundraiser, I guess that Hernia Tryharder is one of the riders and he wins on the TY !
  15. I agree with Paul. The interviewer does say that it is HIS opinion about how Cody looked! All I have to say, is that, any press trials can get in the mainstream motorcycle news is good! As well, Cody is a great young man! I have great respect for him, his mom and dad, and how he carries himself! He was very friendly to me and my son while we were down at the TTC this past year, and watching him win the US Indoor! Keep up the good work Cody! Steve
  16. YOu beat me to it Zippy! I was thinking the same thing as you about Slapshots comments!!! Hey Donald, I hear that the lowly Leafs might be interested in Sean Avery.....so they for sure can finish dead last this year, to get the first round pic next year!
  17. Clive: Hey thanks guys! Yes the US Nationals is the ultimate goal for us! It is nice now the in Canada we finally have some hope of a real Championship again with the new WEC championship. For the near future, our plan is to support the new WEC this year, and skip the US Youths, but return to the TTC the next year. That way Matt will have a good chance always being at the older age of his age group! The onto some full US Nationals. But $$$ will be the key for sure! Steve
  18. Thanks for all the nice comments guys! I am for sure enjoying every moment with Matt !
  19. Hey guys: Thought you might get a kick out of my sons new website! Go to http://www.mattfracy.com We will try to add continuous content, pictures, stories, and event reports there! We would appreciate any feedback! Hope you enjoy! cheers, Steve
  20. steve fracy replied to ringo's topic in USA Trials
Ringo drinks girly beer anyway! Have fun boys!
  21. I would say that we should follow your first idea Spencer and get the numbers and riders attending the events. The rest can follow with Lobbying the FIM. I am going to put my name down for a two-day National in 2010 in April!
  22. As of today, the WEC is sanctioning a Canadian Championship for trials in our country that is worthy of our support. Finally an organization that seems to not only recongnize the obstacles of riders travelling accross our great country, but willing to help support and co-ordinate in the logistics of travel too. I hope that everyone from coast to coast can support this new venture and make us all proud! Cheers, Steve
  23. steve fracy replied to borus's topic in Gas Gas
Steve, can you PM me with the details of cost and what you did with your kit......Might be worth to do it to Matts bike and then I can ride that, he gets the new one!!
  24. Disappointed that Andy did not have the time this year to post the link to that great Remeberance Day song and video that he ran in past years. Hope all of you out there are remembering ALL the veterans in our countries that have given the ultimate sacrifice so that we may enjoy the freedoms we have! If you go to U-Tube and search for the song Pittance of Time, you too can listen to it again this year! Steve
