i am an mot tester,you must have a continuos sounding horn,get one from push bike shop with its own battery.you will need a speedo just make it look like it works as it is not tested.chain gaurd not needed for mot,if you have no lights make sure you dont have a switch.reflector the book says you need one,so while you are at push bike shop get a simple bolt on one.tank must not leak petrol,any breathers are ok but make sure not spraying on back tyre easy to put to drive chain.richard

if the clutch is horrible when bike gets hot,put in cb100 clutch plates.while you have case of you will see on end of crank alloy plate with 3 hard to get out phillips screws take of and clean inside,thats the oil filter needs doing once a year.best oil to use mobile one.it wont completely cure clutch but it will be much better.

leaving bleed nipple tight pump lever few times hold lever in undo hose at master cylinder part of a turn tighten repeat few times.now do normal thing with bleed nipple. i bleed various bikes every day.i find best way to pump lever few times hold it in and undo nipple then tighten again repeat.its never failed me touching wood.

its the yoke post that need changing.you will have to grind or weld bottom of tlr post and it will tap out.then take out post of other forks then find they are different thickness.whoops now what.you should have checked out sizes first.i used to run four stroke 125 200 then 250,many years ago,main problem was clutch when hot,i did mods with washer cb 100 plates,bugger all differance.then i used mobile 1 full synthetic oil,a big improvement.

i once had a problem many years ago i cannot remmember what bike it was,but same thing as yours,it was the springs rubbing on hub the springs could go either way round.so i put them the other way round all good after that.

you could try sending old ones to ebc. countess road. northampton.attension of john motorcycle dept.he is very helpfull he can check if they are same as another model.or he may know where you can get them relined.there used to be a place in northampton that relined brakes but it got knocked down and converted to flats.

you can ride to mot station as long as you make an appointment.and you have insurance.then ride home again.but then you have to register before you ride again.

slacken of cable.undo locknut unsrew philips untill it stops screw back in half a turn.now adjust cable.good idea while left hand cover is of to lubricate worm drive i use chain lube and work it in.

you could always put sidecar and trailer on your goldwing

it maybe easier to find xl185 engine but you have to slighlty mod frame for lump on right hand side near kick start shaft or what i have done to at least 10 tl125s the cg125 engine fits very well and its got good power plonks and revs well.

however much it is people moan.our club puts money up every year because we have to pay for land.i think its about

there was some bits on ebay sometime ago.i had a tlm 240 for years.now i have tlm 200.these are great bikes they are no problem at all.your 220 is the same as 200 and 240 parts are nearly the same they use a mtx 125/200 bottom end. with the water pump and balencer shaft not fitted .so for coil and cdi check out all these other bikes.

i have never heard of a crack in valve i think its a casting mark.you will have to get gaskets as well.try your local honda dealer
