  1. i buy secondhand tyres from other riders and keep turning them.normally about
  2. i did a tl125 years ago they put up a good fight.i burnt out rubber with blow lamp then collasped the outer bush with a centre punch.
  3. poss tyre to hard.normally runs less than 4 psi.for trail rideing needs to be above 6 psi?
  4. i am a mot tester its very rare for a bike to fail mot on brakes they have to be very poor to fail

  6. i run michelin tubeless tyres with tubes have done for years on standard old honda.i have never had problems,i cannot remember ever having a punture,
  7. sounds like ignition timeing has retarded.i dont know the model well can timeing slip?
  8. have you checked you have good power getting to motor.batterys are a pain fully charged should show 12.5 you could try charging one at a time on a 12v charger.have you watched multi meter when applying power poss batteries no good if power drops below 10 volts immediatly.
  9. dont worry about clearances,if ran ok besides cam rattle,carry on with rebuild.

    Tl 125 Piston

    the piston from cg125 should fit.or if you want to do trials fit the cg125 engine much better than tl engine
  11. i would have thought hard to do as villiers engine and gearbox sort of preunit and bantam is much smaller unit engine gearbox

  15. panic buying?that wont happen as the guv said dont.im down south saw a bloke today buying petrol for his car,then got out of boot 4 cans then filled them up. wheres the point.

    Help Please

    i have one as well these aer great bikes very easy to ride.for a seat try dk motorcycles.rear mudgaurd very hard to find.mine is fitted with standard universal you see on ebay all the time,but dont fit at front very well.bottom end of engine same as water cooled honda mtx 125/200. if you need clutch plates you will not need parts lists as these bikes dont go wrong.i ran 240 version for every weekend for 7 years without taking head of.brake shoes same as tlr 250,not 200.

  18. looks very nice.so next trial i dont want to see you have dropped any dabs,i see in photo 4 you have chain on upside down? not really!
  19. i have never had any books for mine.if you ever need any parts im sure with internet you can find anything.im very jealous of where you can ride.i have made simple sections in my garden,mainly tight turns,otherwise its load bike up on trailer and go about 10 miles for pratice,or go to local trial at least 15 miles
  20. gas gas make bolts like allen bolts out of soft cheese make sure you have very allen key set then replace screws with proper ones
  21. i have a tlm 200 used fairly reguarly i used to have 240 hard used every weekend for 6 years.they are so well made i never needed any parts.i have never even had the head of.just one set of clutch plates they are same as mtx125.as is bottom end of engine.brake shoes are normal tlr 250.so you dont need parts book.run engine on best 2 stroke oil.and best oil in gearbox changing every few weeks.
