  1. Or you could buy an 6 year old 4rt and finnish just outside the top 10 like Tom Sagar, Great ride Tom, unlucky not to be in the top 10
  2. running backwards is down to the timing, the stator plates need turning a degree or half, think its clockwise but there will be definate info on here somewhere, 'search running backwards'

Thats true it was bought off the bay as a rev3 but must be a techno one, the pivots at the engine end cam from a gas gas contact same size spindle so you can use, needle cage bearings, they were too wide and needed turn down a couple of mm

Dont think Chris does an OKO for the 200. When I enquired he was trying a 28mm and 30mm on a 200! bit big considering they came with a 25. Stick to a new Dellorto is my opinion, new slide and needle at the least.
  11. The bolt is the kickstart return stop so it needs tightning after you have turned the kickstart half a turn or so, shine a torch up the hole so you can see it, tighten it the same as sump plug. Crank thread has seen better days yes! That nut does need to be tight! or flywheel key will sheer.

Personally I dont think pegs need moving back much on the rear kick 200 as front end is pretty light already. I moved mine 10mm back and down, and raise the bars.

  15. I think its 1000cc of oil isnt it? I used to run mine just on ATF and was fine. Cant see even if it was overheating you would loose the clutch, I would expect the clutch to slip? ?

Thanks for replies, I understand that bit, I think I may have described it wrong, its the indents in the gear that the dogs push into, to turn the adjacent gear that are worn, so no longer round, but oval. I supose if one gear is loose in the other and turning at different speeds then it will push out to movement, correct? ?

Can anyone explain why when the dogs wear in a gearbox it jumps out of gear? I thought once it is in gear then its the position of the selector barrel thats keeps it in gear?

where is the B or E stamped on the cylinder?
  21. furse replied to drongo's topic in Fantic
I use 6" bars with 70mm risers off a pit bike, all cables need to be made longer. But I am 6ft4 so need to make up for the extra few inches! Fantic didn't make the bike for your average 6ft4" guy! hence why I have lifted mine, Renthal bars from the 80's (cow horns) also had more rise than 6".It all comes down to comfort on the bike really
