  1. I do look at the Japanese Championship.....Kuroyama was beat by Ogawa in 2010 Japanese Championship Have you ever been to Japan?
  2. "I've been everywhere man" Johnny Cash What are Yamaha's plans for trials? Who knows? Kenichi is riding Japanese championship on the big Yamaha and doing demos in the Far East (Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines) on the little Yamaha.
  3. I agree with Kramit...though it worries me to say that. The sections were long muddy climbs and that would tend to suit the Yamaha 4T over the Rat Maze type sections that the lightweight 2T's are built for. Plus I am sure that Kenny was pumped to show that he still has what it takes to ride at the World level ....much like Marc Frexia's recent inspired ride at Cahors where he beat Fajardo, Fuji and Dabil.
  4. Interesting how Kuroyama on that Yamaha 4T lump with a carb beat Fajardo on the Ossa 2T FI wonder bike by 36 points.
  5. That is the mentality that has kept trials small. Trials bikes make great single track trail bikes.
  6. $2500.00 would be a steal if the bike had normal usage, with only 2 hours of use it is worth much more. The 04 had improved porting. Try and find a modern bike with better quality components.
  7. BUY IT ! that bike is worth $2500.00 to $3000.00
  8. They just won this fight for all motorcyclists Lead Law repealed Everyone that rides should be a member.
  9. If I was anywhere near the UK I wouldn't miss it. Watching the best on proper hazards is too good to miss. Be there!
  10. -Ride OVER the Globe of Dizzyness -8 foot Splatter over a pit of fire with Smalls standing in the pit in a fire suit. - Ride a nose wheelie down the stairs with a cup of gasoline balanced on his helmet while smoking a cigarette
  11. The standard bearings are Full Compliment needle bearings designed to work under heavy load. I'll be interested to see how your experiment goes. Keep us posted.
  12. Remove the choke slide. Clean it and the slide hole.
  13. Looking down onto the carb the cable should be at 10 o'clock. Run it along the inside of the left frame member below the tank. Make sure you have enough slack in the cable to allow for bar movement. Be sure that the petcock or fuel line does not interfere with the cable/elbow when re-installing the tank. Make sure the cable is free and clear of any pinch points.
  14. I think you guys need to take a larger view. Open your minds a little. Why can't it be a Stunt bike, Freestyle bike, Trick bike? Why does someone who buys a Trials bike HAVE TO use it only as a Trials Competition bike? Does every MX or Enduro bike HAVE TO be used for competition only? What about bicycles? Does everyone that buys one have to enter the Tour de France? Look at kids on skateboards, free to do what they want. Imagine the reception an old putz would get if he came up and told them how to use it and imposed some rules on them?. Let them get get interested by what the bike can do and the fun they can have with it. They will find their way to the organized part of the sport if they want to.
  15. If Bou's bike were available at a reasonable cost --YES-- everybody would be riding it.
