One way is to get a rod that's within a few thou, fill the bearing with thick grease and usi.g the rod apply a sharp blow. Fill with grease and repeat.
Fair point, but dont build a bike that will will exclude you from a fantastic event. Its not oversubscribed ever year for no reason. (I'm on the reserve list, so fingers crossed)
Charlie, I'm curious to know where you think the "line" is, it seems fantaha wheels/forks are ok, why not use that yamtic engine as well ?
And it would be a shame to waste the frame !!
Have you considered a twin shock ? 1980's are sensibly priced (except Fantic's) Have a real seat, decent sized tank. Lights shouldnt be a problem, if required. Twin shocks are very capable, alot easier than a trail bike. Should hold price if bought sensibly. Just a thought.
