Hi all.
In the process of "trying" to remove the barrel for a re-bore.
The four long studs that go right through to the crank case are solid.
Haven't been touched for decades.
I have been regularly spraying them with wd40 & duck oil but so far no movement.
A friend has suggested a hot air gun, which I haven't bought yet, is this the best way ?
Any other suggestions ?

You haven't seen the price of a competitive 2"pre 65" then !

Have a look at SWM forum for parts manual kindly supplied by MartinM page 17 shows an O ring part 46 on the shaft.

Got to agree, great event.
Weather was good, sections were challenging (for me) without being silly.
Each day was quite different, full marks to the team.
Rapidly becoming a mini pre-65 scottish !

I have done it before but it was such a bogger that I was hoping for a easier way.
Think I'll try sticking them in the freezer and heating the swinging arm.
