  1. prices have dived abit this is the most undesirable model, but they are a great clubman bike, id say closer to £1100 would be right, but it looks lightly used at first glance.
  2. find out where people practice i think a place called frys is near meet up with the guys there and have a go.
  3. dont we all do that already anyway, by opening throttle a 1/4 round the turns then 3/4?
  4. Not for me jimmy im fairly consistantly average, but never lose 3 x marks one day to the next on similar sections. I could never get to the bottom of the 4rt grip, almost when it (I) was good it made it easy (showa suspension?) but when it got into trouble it was always twice as difficult to recover............I gave up in the end and went back to 2t
  5. This is just a snippet of what you see at costa, if you like these you need to see the 400 plus bikes outside the hotel............
  6. Try splat shop chris pearson rides an e bike and hes a trials dealer, think they all have clutches?
  7. Exactly (theoretically) how would you see that working?
  8. last 3 years at gas gas maybe a case of they do it but dont say? It is a nice touch and very smooth throttle
  9. ive got a 242 which is similar and mines nearer 25 than 15
  10. ..which is why the beta is the same engine for 20 years and 4rt gas gas and sherco are all so old. If there was any kind of money we would have seen development of new motors, there isnt, we havent.
  11. What i found with my 4rt was if you ride it well the weight isnt an issue, but the moment you sart to struggle its twice as tricky. One day i lost 20 next day 60 marks could never work out why.
  12. mud for the average rider is the 4rts achillies heal.
  13. speak to some guys in your arae contact a guy named brindly youve probably heard of him he and his pals will let you try out im sure.
  14. doubt i would ever have been that brave.
  15. If true i cant think why the fim think that they can placate the manufacturers by this, has it happened in any other branch of motorcycling?
  16. Your saying sport 7 lost the job because of Brexit?
  17. gas gas definately do but it cant be just them?
  18. try before you buy
  19. A time limit always worked with thoughtful section plotting.
  20. Yorkshire, definately.
  21. the bikes come with bar end bearings in the throttle now dont they, or am i missing something??
  22. thats because the exhaust port is on the side, by the rest of the build im guessing its a converted frame, but couldnt recognize it.
  23. this is the bike that has been dawn a few times as the bike Bultaco wouldve made next had they not gone pop. Its a Frenchman escuyeire or summat. Bit of a joke really as it doesnt use the last engine, a gas gas swinging arm, forks from 10 years ago, not the best kickstart available, dellorto carb and so on. Just cant see the point, but thats just me.
  24. Good or bad jake had tried to improve things and appeared to have some format repeated in various countries to give the series some continuity. Not a fan of one day events but i dont think that was sport 7s choice? The you tube and live reprts are necessary imho to generate intrest outside of the event country. If this doesnt continue the beginning of the end for the wtc is in sight.
