Ialways put mx sponge in the bottom and left the flap working.
-
If you don't want to argue why do you keep doing it?
-
Wrong.
Chris Sutton is in Spain on the coast not too far from Girona I believe. House renovating I think with his family.
-
Welded shut but no one looked through the window, and none of the locals saw any of the cars go in, and to buy all those cost how much?
I'm with you Andy t

Ahh so it wasn't your airbox like mine was mine, as I said before numbnuts if you ride a dry trial it wouldn't get crap in it then anyway?!?
Also if it was your friends had he sealedit properly to start with? You don't know the real answer to these cos it aint your bike yet you cast a shadow on the make based on "your friend".
Gas Gas is a great bike and may well be the best thing for this guy to buy, a beta, as shown at Sheffield, is not always perfect. It may well be that he would do better with a beta, but only he can tell.
Once he has tried both will he know, and the reliabilty or heresay lack of it shouldn't be a deciding factor.
-
This is a real shame it happened in our centre and now we haven't got a national at all.
I really think this is where the centre should step in and "suggest " say 3 clubs band together for an event or permanenetly, otherwise clubs ground/land will be lost forever.
-
It isn't true the airboxes are very good if sealed properly when new, most rubbish gets in when washing.
To say they are full of crap every ride again is blatatly untrue, have you never ridden a dry trial?

Based on Nigel Dempster as I was to do a column of trials gossip.
-
Speak to Perry Meeton he is down your way and has a 4rt he may be able to advise at a trial.
-
-
So your opinion based on what? How many gassers and betas have you had?
-
Peter Weight your club sec should have them if not e mail me and I can get a copy to you.
-
Gas Gas are excellent, I have had 3 250's and no problems with any other than an ajp master cylinder. They are easy to work on, need a regular check over and fettling but sound bike. They did have reliability problems in the past but havw been updated and improved year on year. I would be bet money on a call to shirty resulting in a quick spin on one if not a test ride!!
-
He is and before that I bought from bvm, but micky is much closer. I think if your dealer knows you whoever he is its better as I have said many times. I get good service from whoever because, I give them my custom on a regular basis, its my advice take it or leave it..........!
However never put all your eggs in one basket!
-
A 315 is old technology if you were to go to a pro or sherco you should see an improvement in your riding regardless of capacity, but for competitions as stated above its 125 for youths.
-
Try M sport they have a few 4rt bits open this week too.
-
A really good way is to mount a footrest keep on the wheel arch then compress the suspension and pop it in summat like that anyway!
-
If an explaination is needed.
My dealer was understandably busy as he had collected several bikes from Sandifords. My choice was he delivered it in the crate and we put it together there and then, together. He then returned on the Saturday to give it a proper pdi which is how I know about the throttle restrictor cos I saw him take it out.
My dealer does this and I can call him pretty much 24/7 if I need to know anything.
He also does the warranty and to me any saving made by grey importing is completely outweighed by his (and other) dealers committment to this superb level of customer satisfaction.
I could also recall the time another dealer swapped ignitions from a brand new sherco as mine went kaput.
Don't get me wrong I like to save a few quid and like others have bought a couple of vans from Belgium, but not trials bikes.
-
Just the same as the MUDGAURDS, err hherm.
-
-
i think the amount of movement of the butterfly requires the slow throttle that then acts as a fast woul, certainly feels like that to me going from a 250 gas gas with white tube anyway.
Removal of the throttle body restrictor made so much difference you gatta do it, is it a grey import you have?
-
Now you are talking that is a super van.
-
Touching bottoms and welsh, disgusting.
-
thats what the dealer will have removed yes.
