  1. The tapes with valves are much better. As above seal hole with silicone to keep out dirt
  2. Was there one? Would it work in our favour if a b 40 spilled it's gearbox in a hills borough trial above the reservoir?
  3. As l said you're mixing up. 199b late head steady is a triangular Alloy plate fixed in to a steel bracket on head and two points on top tube not one. All previous are pressed steel and yes constantly break
  4. Great job and information/explination a longer pipe to deflect away from Mudgaurd would be my only very very small critique.
  5. They take everyone but only one route now I'd say you need to be at least a good centre rider
  6. Very much so. Not a very "stylish" rider but very much a contemporary rider of Alexz WIgg Danby Haslams Gubian et al.Won the junior in 2011 I think couldn't get a deal in Wtc so went straight to extreme. From Madrid area sister is following on by looks of it
  7. Think you're mixing up here, original was steel later than 3000 frame nos some had a one piece alot drilled plate fixed to head bolts by a steel bracket. They are very good and strong and never heard of one of these breaking
  8. Billy bolt, Jono Richardson, taddy and Gomez are all good too
  9. If they're made be surprised if in motion don't have them. The head bracket is v important to be strong enough
  10. Nope, there very simple to make as are flat plate aluminium. Do you have the bracket on the top tube? you will also need a bracket fabricated on the head connection too
  11. 2. From what GG249 says above they aren't coming back. "It's a great dream but the company is dead as a door nail. The only way someone might start production is on huge outlay which is completely illogical. Gurt is hoping for someone to invest so he can place himself comfortably within the structure and start drawing a nice salary... and what's wrong with that ?. Nothing apart from the fact that courting investors and securing their cash is the No 1 priority. Making bikes falls way way down the list. The factory margin on bikes doesn't pay enough for companies like Ossa to exist . That's why the no 1 priory is attracting investors with hope that there is one born every minute. It doesn't make pleasant reading but this is the sad reality of some small trial bike co's. There is nothing wrong with hope.In this case just don't part with cash - it would be gone in a flash."
  12. If you read the other threads/knew what wtc requirements are that should answer your questions?
  13. Tech have aluminium stanchions since they started a few years back.
  14. Thank you for your reply, but why is parts i c a good thing for these two makes?
  15. Not really its the mid box that matters.......that does need repacking.
  16. Total agreement there scraub
  17. Id say santigosa is now not suitable for clubman, you need to be a good centre rider. Sardent was much better 10 years ago when it had a more intrnational flavour. Reeth is very popular and im definately doing Alwinton next year!
  18. So the 125cc class, which was such a good idea till the Spanish on behalf of Pol Tarres managed to bend the rules, on its ars$ with entries yet it isnt a world championship any more? That'll help then. FFS.
  19. would be better with a single straight through pipe, and what would be even better a repackable middle box.
  20. sorry yes, a win at the first day in the uk and hes champ. bit mean not to be a champion though.
