We know and love the SSDT but as a worldwide diminishing sport on more and more enclosed in size of terrain available and numbers participating bikes have evolved into the size lightness and shape they are.
Not many agree with your opinion on this or else the parc ferme at the Fort would be full of long ride seats bigger gaurds and rads. Its not.

Who could argue with the reliability of the 4rt, some riders barely touch them all week and they are probably the most complex and squeezed in tight bike ive ever owned.

Last year was 2 routes one easy (over 60) one hard (over 40) and 50/50 for over 50,s, ie half the easier over 40 and half the more difficult over 60's i think??

i had a real struggle to get back in (the clip) the only thing i can see with removing clip is it a) a kind of anti rattle device as well and will the pads drop out if they are very thin (ie worn out) ?

the 50/50 didnt work from what riders have said because events were too hard not the 50/50 aspect

you probably have the tab on there anyway, it triangulates the head steady rather than one point.
Whats the frame number? Femsa or motoplat ignition?

The over 60's (which is sort of what this thread is about) was won on 32, care to look at your comment again? And as jimmy says above he wouldnt want his route any easier.
Clearly the "less than 10" has been missed in this class which then reinforces the original question "why has the acu done this"?

Ive ridden a few trials near Dan and watched him up close at lots of BTC and even one world round at hawkstone, so I doubt YOU can teach me anything about his technique.
Dan probably rides more than anyone else in the entire country, he is an accomplished rider and a very capable expert probably in the top few % in terms of ability.
I and others have explained simply to you that this rider and others at this level have a different technique to the MAJORITY of clubman riders/average ability.

FYI dibs (not dabs) signed for gas gas after his entry to SSDT.

slow action throttle retard ignition as above low comp head longer front pipe slow throttle gearing etc.
IMHO you would be better trying to ride the thing with some instruction or get a less powerful bike rather than messing about looking for a simple or quick answer which probably isnt there?

avoid a flywheel weight there are better ways to soften this bike.
