    Steering Angle

what trials are you intending to ride where changing the angle by 1.5 dgrees will save you marks? Practise for the time it takes to strip the bike pay for the work and youll probably end up better off marks wise?
  3. @johnnyboxerNope everyone me included were doing what he did, he was simply the very best, and scheiber had introduced alot of it anyway from playing with techniques as he was from so cal and im sure the south of england mud around comerfords was like an alien planet to him...
  4. Ill have ten dollars he doesnt ever finish second or properly switch.
  5. Steve was very good very young but innovative im not so sure? Don Smith definately.
  6. Ive always gone for the lightest, as above 4/5 hours or even longer a few grams can help a lot especially if you dont ride frequently. ..and as above comfort and fit are very imprtant and the only way around this is to try the helmet on. (dont buy over internet!)
  7. I expect they do but thats because the material would be soft? Try to keep on thread Jimmy........
  8. sorry marky missing your point here? They use ti to loose weight so why not fluid, i ran a coupe of shercos without reservoir as the pipe was full from master to under seat , enough in there. Just seems surperfluous (sp) if they are swapping a few 6mm bolts?
  9. With all the efforts at weight saving why do they bother with a rear brake reservoir full of fluid?
  10. Taking one step at a time if you can make it tickover ok with the throttle then the issue is simply the screw is not adjusting the slide up enough to mimic the tickover?
  11. i would start with the standard settings we have now as listed on the sherco website for the 07 (?) bikes. From memory a 33 pilot and im not sure on main but 144 rings a bell?
  12. set the clutch up so it just slips in top gear, by backing off the springs, then back in a bit the springs sre then as soft as can be. A longer arm might not give enough free play, ensure rod is very smooth through motor and very important cable is tangential to pull direction
  13. Have you checked the airbox after a trial? Before washing?
  14. think it fits some. husqvarna do one aswell i think
  15. i use the sthil self stopping gas fillers on my gas gas as its easy to overfill
  16. quick release clutch hoses do they still have those?
  17. I cant ever recall saying the ACU should buy a truck, but would gladly apologise if you can find where i specifically did, but that is clouding your ridiculous and ill informed commments. Rabies covered alot and a few who know whats involved will have laughed at your words. The "problems" with the national parks are several not least planning permission, unless im misunderstanding what the RMC member who applied on behalf of the club is the actual route taken by their events. How someone from outside the area could attend meetings go for a walk about in the dales with said official know who owned what land and negotiate different routes escapes me. You too.
  18. Would we really all pack up if it was £20? We buy 4k bikes but its still the cheapest part of competing and the benefits are numerous.
  19. Ive heard it all now, the ACU should find land and observers? You are joking?
  20. or looking at it another way we get it too cheap.
  21. So do you know what the btdc is?
  22. What does one counting day mean that the two day event is really one day? Or Event is two days competition but only one day is a wtc?
