If fi can work at very very low rpm just as a 2 stroke takes its last gasp then every make would have fi. It doesnt. They dont. Plus you need power for it to work and there are pages and pages on here about that. So in balance fi is good, but its not perfect yet. Carbs are good too.

what is the licence fee per year? and what insurance is covered by the 5/7 euro? Does the Dutch acu have a benevolent fund an accident payout covered when competing and legal cover? Are all the events off road in designated areas or on land owned by several people?

By clouding the issue and talking about miners or this and that is simply avoiding admitting youre not accurate or objective. (student loans are only re paid when they earn over 21k and thats only 37 a month at 26k so thats innacurate and probably not stopping anyone entering a trial) IT IS great value and considering all the unpaid hours volunteers put in as Breagh says above almost insulting to suggest in anyway as anything other. We all know times have changed and to repeat whats stated above health and saftey insurance land etc are all greater costs relative. Lastly and to finish, if there is one iota of truth in anything you say about this, if trials is pricing itself out of "the market" what similar activity is cheaper?

Mix in all the other factors like many clubs pay for land, insurance, health and saftey, sending officials to c o c training in rugby etc, i could go on but just accept that trials is very very good value compared to anything,except of course dad of 2 wages, back then.

Im not making anything up as i go along, the point was that the impression was the original statement/comment was the manufacturers actually make cast and machine or machine from billet the parts that make up the bike. I dont think thats the case, I thought they all bought in parts from outside, whether it be japan or italy or local? Why do i get the impression im being interviewed by the police? Also biff reading between the lines im not sure you even understand what production of trials bikes is like in Catalunya. AFAIK all makes just assemble they dont manufacture much at all, which is why the sherco small batch model has worked so well for so many years. Looks like trs are following suit, so yes in their model it is easy to spit out 80 in a batch, just not 80 a day.
