if in uk stick with 45.
The 250 has always been an odd one as it never runs as sweet as the bigger bikes on the same carb and jetting, so much so that it came for years with a dellorto.
Try boysen reeds use an inline filter and check float heights before changing much else.
sales will be the decider and prove if what you geezers say is true....or not.
Regardless of my bike is best partisan support from sponsored riders (steve fraceys son?) or their friends I am totally convinced that there are too many bikes from too many brands for them all to survive
Not a parts bin at all better components than standard. Id look at getting it at a good price as new ones coming soon.
250 best model to sell on.
What price?
Lets not get carried away this is a brand new bike, the brakes should be good, but 5 into 6 doesnt go, for 95% of the time its fine but 6 is always better? so please gush all you want but dont stretch the truth too far.
Without knowing the exact details of what went on its very difficult to prove "steve had orders for bikes" or there was a demand for them here or anywwhere else for that matter?
Money can be advanced in various ways and lines of credit can be made available for definate orders, in various ways, so there is more to this than they didnt make enough bikes surely. Ditto ossa.
Whether you can see it or not doesnt alter the fact at correct low pressures tyres will move on rims, a tube adds a level of susoension too and as a famous yorkshire rider told me affects grip.
A tubless has advantages on modern bikes and trials but if youre just messing about it could offer a solution.
As stated above some Shercos are fitted with a bad "batch" of tyres and should be changed, a front doesnt need to match back, either in manufacturer or specific tyre ie x lite or x 11
You can put your location into your profile.
It helps when people answer questions or are making suggestions (as you illustrated above!), my pet hate.
So if you colly and everyone else puts there location it helps each other?
