  1. Yes they do to the vast majority of riders, its a shame you cant see whats in front of your face. Baldilocks bikes when ive taken any notice are well prepared and looked after and whilst both of us probably dont ride as much as we would like and get new bikes not infrequently, ive never bothered with ptfe tape and would imagine its use would simply create more problems than it solves for the majority of non mechanic riders. There is alot of difference between air filter and changing oils type prep and hydraulics for many. IMHO dont touch bleed nipples unless bleeding.
  2. Did you ever explain what this has to do with trials?
  3. Thinner AND lighter AND stronger. Wash your mouth out! Of course you are right daoff the bikes of Fuji and bou are special one offs with plenty of billet parts and have been for 10 years since Dougie was on the bikes too
  4. Well it depends on the sections but when those two are the only ones that get through a section i guess that little bit of saved weight or 1'2 a bhp could maybe mean 15 marks?
  5. I have a 2013 Racing 250 and its been very very good so I think i'll keep that going for a couple of years.
  6. The ty mono as we all know was a big leap forward thats its main reason for selling despite its price. No one aspires to this event except the 12 that competed on the top route. The fact that 17 yes 17 riders only competed in two classes is surely an indication to the FIM that whatever they need to do needs to happen fast to keep a trials world championship alive.
  7. 200 instead of 156 sounds so much better to buyers when most thought a 325 or at least a 250 was required. Bultaco 250 or 239 sounds right surely? Mercs and bmw's always used to be precise but not anymore. Guess its called marketing.
  8. Conversly people would sit up and take notice if it did, just like vertigo winning (and several finishing) the SSDT might not directly "sell bikes" but its all marketing.
  9. Gas Gas manufactured very little, did you think they did?
  10. The works bikes are one offs so i wouldnt bank on it being a prototype. Photos?
  11. Dadoff says "I suspect with every day that passes a return to manufacturing will be harder, and because of JTS and Vertigo the justification for re starting manufacture of GG will be less" JTS? Not another new catalan maque? Dad off try to absorb a minimum of info, but just so its easy for you and your lack of understanding is nt so obvious next time :- Gas Gas make very little, most components are bought in from subbies in the area. So you or I with the original buyer (from GG) could set up gas gas operation tomorrow and get it running in a very short time. I hope this is what happens sooner rather than later.....
  12. It would be if the bike is capable. Do trs have 100k for Raga to do a season?
  13. What choice has he got? At least unlike Raga the "factory" is still there and not in the receivers hands?

My guess is the home market in Spain has seen enough of an upturn for the swansong 4rt race replica to be produced. This will be a bigger motor maybe with crankcase changes to allow a full 300cc and mapable switching like works bikes. Expect to pay close to 10k.
  15. I just work round it. Lean it at 45 turn off tap, simple.
  16. What is the point of posts like this? It appears to simply fuel speculation of the imminent demise?

Doubt if Apico will give up hebo to saunders
  18. I always use insulating electricians tape in the well
  19. I really think if all these jgas ossa and trs think they can produce a bike which is good then there must be one or two sensible catalans who can do the same with Gas Gas whatever its called.
  20. Often happens.Try to clean everything so its really dry and turning tyre so repositioning the security clamp possible to the bit which "drops" in. It may be that you need to leave it punped up (25psi?) for a week or so then it can take on the shape as it may have been stored squashed. Good luck its usually trial and error tbh.
  21. So we should all sit back and take dadoff **** as gospel? Whats your solution?
  22. Do they have garages in wales?
