Just acquired what I am led to believe is an Ossa TR77 - a 250cc Ossa of 1978 vintage (Frame No 8-700191). Does anyone know anything about these bikes? and more importantly does anyone have the correct air filter and side panels for this bike? It might also be very useful if someone can remind me how to attach a picture - I can't remember how I did it previously and the help menu doesnt seem to have anything useful to say

I have a bike fitted with a 110mm conical Grimeca hub which is very similar to those fitted to a Fantic. It differs in the following ways; the strengthening hubs internally are much larger, there are small strengthening ribs visible on the outside of the hub, the distance between the spoke sets left and right is narrower resulting in a narrower hub. It was originally white. Fantic sprocket and back plate fit. The bike was constructed in about 1983 or 1984. Does anyone have one for sale or know of a model it was fitted to.

I've had enough !!!. I have finally got mad enough to remanufacture fibre-glass airboxes for the TR-80 250 and 350. A local fairing maker can run them off, but the cost of the initial mould is quite high. If we can order say 10 at the same time, it makes it much cheaper. At the moment,

Where do I buy a good set of trials bars that are with a 6 or seven inch height or does anyone make risers for a TY250A? I would prefer that they had little or no sweep back.

  14. Started by keychange,

My Cota 247 has had quite a few bar bending spills - and now even a light fall results in a bend so I I think they are past their use by date. Can I get some suggestions on replacements. I do like the original wide bars they are approx 820 mm (32 inches) and I would prefer something without the cross bar support so as to keep the original look.

  15. Started by sir dabs alot,

What bars work best on a KT-250? The ones that were on it were sup high rise. Regular bars seem low and very close to me. The handlebar clamps on the triple clamps are way back near the tank.

  16. A friend who is not that handy with forums and other complex matters just browses and email has one of these bikes which he might be selling but doesn't know how original this is and what year it is. I'd say the seat is not original, the rest seems fine. The bike is for sale in MD but he is trying to appraise its value, any input is welcomed. To contact the owner directly w2ss@lycos.com

I've got a white plastic petrol tank that's turned yellowish with the petrol vapour over the years. Is it possible to get rid of this yellowing to restore to its former beauty and if so how? Many thanks

. Bore and piston is OK on the 349 but the piston pin has suffered from the same internal corrosion that wrecked many other parts (I already have a rod and big-end kit to fit). I can get a new piston, with a pin, for the oh-so modest sum of
