Hi All, Have a rickman hub to build up for the rear of my James. Anyone know where I can get a flangless rim for it? Some cheap Mitchelin X11's would be good too!!! Cheers Steve.

Has anyone got any pictures of a widened swing arm that I can use to plan my alteration. I already have the original (wider) arm, but still have minimal clearance and hence want to make the alteration. Any advice gladly received.

Does anyone know when John Catchpole built his Scott-based trials outfit as shown in this photo? http://www.eurospares.com/graphics/sidecar...eSpecial001.jpg Via Google I found an image of JC in action on his first special in 1952 but the one in the photo above appears to be a later version. It seems like every time I go thumbing through my collection of Off Road Review I spot some interesting bike that I'd not noticed before. cheers, Michael

Can you help me with fitting a cub hub in a set of b50 front forks? Do you have to make a new spindle or are there other ways around it? Is it a good idea too cut my c15 frame to raise the engine for more ground clearance? do I live with it or go for a faber frame? Any help much appreciated.

Here is a photo of a villiers 6e with an Ajax conversion (fitted in a 1951 James rigid). Other than this was made by B&C Pearson, Knowle, Birmingham in the 50s and 60s and is, along with the Vale Onslow conversion the only conversions allowed for pre60 villers engined scramblers, I can't find out much about it. Anyone have any more info? Tim

Hi, Fuel cap Have seen several pics of beautiful slim ally fuel tanks on P65 bikes, they all seems to have "KTM-like" fuel caps; does anyone of you know if "ready to weld on" ally tubes with threads are available? Or if machining threads by lathe is the only way? Cut loose a plastic cap tube from an MX fuel tank, and fastend/seal it from the inside before the ally parts are welded together, might be possible? Airbox Are any of you using 4-s airbox from Sammy Miller, eg for Cub or B15? If yes, whats your opinion about performance verses KN-like filters, that offering a hard time jetting because of non defined air volume... Regards, Pat

Hi, Calling all BSA experts, thinking about building another pre 65 trials bike, would the C15C make a good starting point? Seems to have been designed as a scrambler,(looks like a stronger frame than the road bikes) so i guess had higher compression and a bigger cam ?

Always a hot potato this one. Just wondered what the panel thought. I was over at a friends the other day droping some parts off and noticed he was rebuilding / refurbishing one of the local guys bikes. Now the rider in question usually already wins all the local events he enters but i did notice the ignition that was going to be fitted to the rebuilt engine. I was particularly interested as i am rebuilding a spare engine to put into my James. So what in perticular interested me? Well i am currently running a PVL system on the James and was going to fit a similar system to the new engine but the one that was to be fitted to the James my friend was preparing had a switch…
