I just picked up a 86 reflex 200 today. The kickstart is slipping, not the lever to the gear, but seem to be the shaft. Is there anything common on these that cause this problem? It catches at times and will start right up, but other times it does not want to catch at all.

Hello, I am looking to service my forks on my 1986 RTL 250. Any suggestions on oil capacity and what weight should be used? The front end seems very soft even with 10mm longer preload spacers, is there any aftermarket springs available? Thanks in advance!

hey would you please direct me to the specifications manuals or information for the volume or height etc of oil in the front forks in my 86 tlr 250 r g also how and when etc is air pressure measured in this fork an on line or a source for repair/service manuals for this bike? regards Shaw

I purchased a 520-96 replacement chain for my 1986 Honda TLR200, and when it came, it is larger than stock chain, but everything I read says it should be 520-96 chain? Was stock chain a smaller chain non-O-ring chain? I also purchased new front & rear sprockets, and old chain seems to fit new sprockets, but 520-96 does not? Thanks in advance Mike

Anyone know of rebuild kit for 1986 TLR200 rear shocks, or would it be better to to invest new set of rear shocks? Thinking about riding in vintage trials and obviously also doing front shocks also.

Right..I need some help...a friend of mine here is looking for RTL Honda parts. He needs and airbox to carby rubber hose, and the longest pivot bushing on the lower shock linkage. Where to ask in Europe for RTL spares. Its a 1987 by the way. Any suggestions? Thanks

I'm currently cleaning and servicing the Keihin carb on my 1988 Honda RTL 250S. I'm going to use an Ultrasonic cleaner, so I'm stripping the carb down, removing the jets etc. I want to remove the float, as I believe these can be damaged by the ultrasonic, making them leak. However I am stumped on how to get the retaining pin out. I've tried but can't budge it and don't want to damage the float or anything else trying. Does anybody have any experience of removing the pin, on a Keihin PW 24. Cheers
