Regs and entry out for the Big One, the Jean Williams Memorial Trial - 26th May 2019. Held about 20 miles West of Welshpool in amazing Welsh countryside. Now in it's 18th consecutive year. Great fun trial, great sections, great atmosphere. Great :-) Approx 40 sections, one lap of about 25 miles, all classes, age 6 to 86 (ish). All off road, pass back through the start to refuel twice so no mobile fuelling required. Big screen results throughout the day. Catering, toilets, marquee for entries. Don't miss out! I rode an inter center team trial about 15 years ago (I think it was in Kent) - Graham Jarvis was the star man for that event. I was riding as an 'Inter' and found the going to be hard but I could cope (just). Back then, I think the team was made up of 2 experts, 2 inters, 2 novice & 2 youth or something like that! I'm riding again down in Cornwall and was wandering what the sections are like these days? I understand that now the youths are on the saturday and the adults ride the same route on the sunday??? Any info would be gratefuly received....

Brilliant trial today, a lot of happy riders heading home. Provisional results as they were on the boards however, because there are a number of placings in many categories tied on marks lost official results won't be ready until Janet and Carolyn get together on Tuesday evening to sort them out, please don't bagder them for scores.

Well with Christmas on final approach we will be holding round 11 the final round of our 2013 Club championship at Burycliffe Quarry, Elton near Matlock this Sunday 22nd December start time as usual will be 11.00am With quite a few of the Championship positions still undecided competition for those elusive Championship points should be fierce. So with classes for British Bikes, Pre85 Twinshocks and Pre95 Air Cooled Monos plus routes for Expert, Classic Expert, Intermediate, Classic Intermediate and Clubman riders there is something for everyone. The Eboracum Motor Cycle Club will run an East Yorks Centre Championship Twin Shock Trial on Sunday-June 18 at Coates Hill, Rosedale, starting at 11.00am. The venue is legendary as it was the final section group of the late lamented Colonial Trial and the centre piece was a giant oak tree which was right alongside the final climb. Many great names have leant against the old oak while weighing up a section line. Rod Drake is the man in charge on the day.

Brilliant weekend - if any of you lads/lasses involved in the organisation of the trials are on here they were both spot on. Nothing tight, all sections cleanable, although it would take very good rides on some to achieve that (and there were) but most others still tricky enough to take marks if a rider wasn't right on line. So well done, thanks for the events, roll on next year. Only thing I'd change in the Bootle event is more sections in the rock streams as we just don't get to ride enough of that stuff down here, but there they are all over the place, everywhere you look, just begging to be ridden. Santa arrived early this year for the riders attending round 11 of the Peak Classic Trials Clubs Club Championship on 20th December in the shape of Mick Ransom who set out a challenging course which was made even trickier by the weather. The ground when we arrived was frozen and soon polished up after a few riders had been through making throttle control paramount. Thankfully the promised snow held off till after the event had finished leaving the drive home almost as treacherous as the sections. It

The Next Round of the YG Novice Beginners series will be held At Addingham Moorside at 2pm on Saturday the 11th of September. Usual Courses including a Conducted for the Small Wheelers(E Class accepted with a separate easier course if needed). For further details see the Yeadon Guiseley Website.

This weekend Peak Classic Trials Club hold round 2 of its 2017 Club Championship at Burycliffe Quarry, Elton, Nr Matlock, Derbyshire. Nearest post code is DE45 1LL. Start time is as usual 11.00 am. We have Expert, Classic Expert, Intermediate, Classic Intermediate and Clubman routes. Along with classes for British Bikes, Twinshocks, Pre 95 Air Cooled Monos and Over 50's on moderns. I was up there today and will be there finishing off tomorrow ready for Sunday and i can confirm that storm Doris has passed and that the venue is drying out nicely unlike some other venues this Sunday it will be in prime condition which is why Burycliffe is such a popular all weather…

Hi all just wondering if anyone out here is entering the kingswood trial tomorrow out at Horton? or if anyone has done a trial at this venue before and what I can expect? Barry

Todays trial is at Cliffe Lane Cleckheaton NOT at Upper Green Farm as in TMX.

I've had a few requests for this so to save sending out emails etc. here goes. The start field is sign posted from the centre of Richmond, it's on the road from Richmond to Markse. OS leisure map #30 is ideal for the area. Programme with map is available on the start field & most local shop / garages etc. Get to the start field for 8 ish then you'll get a good look round. or hell lets loose at 9.00am when the first man sets off & they then go at 20 second intervals. There's then several ways of doing it, you simply can't see everything as it all happens too fast so making a plan & sticking to it is a good idea. The amount of traffic on the day stops you go…

Just got back from observing at the Vic Britain, it was very wet and muddy. I managed to get a couple of pictures of various riders. Sorry they're not very good but it was pouring down, so it will just have to give you a flavour of the event until someone can post some better ones.

Just thought I would let all you Traditional trial enthusiasts know that following a few postal cock ups, the final entry total for this Saturday's Normandale sponsored Angela Redford Trial is 161 riders which we think is a fantastic number considering the current financial climate. This well and truly beats last year's total and whilst I can't be sure, must be one of the biggest entries ever for a Traditional series trial. The class of entry is superb with some really good riders taking part, so if you're not riding and fancy watching, then Brookhouse Brickworks which is signed from the Lancaster to Kirkby Lonsdale road at the mini roundabout in Caton is the place to be…
