From next year clubs in the UK will have to run trials under the world rules(stop and hop without penalty) or no-stop. What rules will your club be using and will it be a change to any national trials? Will the clubs moving to the new rules be using any timers in the sections? Our club, Sheffield and Hallamshire will be moving to full no stop.

Can the Coc explain why the time limit was scrapped on Saturdys route Not sure why but I understand the time limit was scrapped on the Saturday? If this is the case what about the riders who rushed the sections or asked for a 5 so that they could finish within thier time limit. I also heard that some riders knew about the scrapping of the time limit during the trial. Was the a justifiable reason why the time limit was scrapped. As a Clerk of Course I was on the understanding that you DO NOT change or scrap time limits. This is drumed into you when attending the seminors at Rugby.

For all the years I have been involved in trials either riding or observing I have never really come to terms with the ruling that once the front spindle of a bike has passed the end section pegs it's classed as section completed, just recently whilst observing a section a rider entered the start gate rode the section so far with a clean, the section end pegs was at the top of a bank which was wet and slippy the rider managed to get his front wheel past the end pegs, but with his back wheel still spinning slid back down into the section, the rider pushed the bike out of the section, as I looked to a club official who was watching he said I have to mark the rider as clean,…

OK - Just to humour me - and get away from ACU matters etc I pose the following question to you all in this season of merriment and good will. For the average - Clubman rider - of limited ability - which s/hand trials machine - circa 2000 - 2005 woukld you say is the easiest to ride in a muddy, cambered type sections? Let us presume it is fitted with a Michelin - and is a 250/280 and in good order. I refer to sections with slippery short climbs ( not balls out climbs) - where grip is always at a premium and skill is at a minimum. Which 2 stroke machine would you choose? - all otherb criteria not important.

Dear All As you know I make a point of trying to read all the posts on Trials Central - and attempt to respond and clear things up when I can. I have suddenly found out - via a link to my normal email address that messeges have been sent to me via an inbox in TC As I did not know I hade one until a few minutes ago - and therefore there may be some who sent messages in this way who have certainly not had a reply. I assure you this is not through being ignorant or not wishing too respond - but due to the fact that I am a computor idiot. Apologies to anyone who did not get a reply. Best method is through normal Trials Central forum - or via my normal email address in h…

Can anyone advise if the rumours of Ian Roberts going bust are true? I visited him early December to drop off an engine and he said he was off to Spain for a month and then back. There was a trick Cub for a customer still there plus loads of other bits. No answer to phone calls however now and I called round last thurs but workshop locked and house still furnished but no one around. If anyone has any info or managed to recover parts can you let me know any contacts etc - I don't want to have to get another engine! Thanks Rob

Hi. This was my first proper trial with markers etc. Found it quite challenging if I'm honest as its a whole different world from just riding random sections. Just wondering if anyone knows where the results are for it? Can't seem to find them anywhere.
