3rd December about 4 in the morning two thirds of "Motorsport Mondial" was devoted to the "Mitchell" round of the BTC. I got it because we have it on series link for Chris. Not bad coverage either Dibs, Brown, Haslam, Danby and Richardson all had considerable name checks. John Shirt was spotted "holding" a rock in place for Brown and various faces I know could be spotted in the crowd or minding. Not lots of sections but they did have Multiple Camera angles on the sections covered.

I think that if you look at the comments after the wallace re marking then someone needs to grasp the nettle and say what is and is not a 5 clearly, explain and if necessary during practice demonstrate this to the riders observers and officials, otherwise inconsistences event to event, observer to observer, will create a situation which far from helping the BTC will ruin it before no stop is given a chance to work or not.

Hi my name is Ben wibberley and I have been riding trials since I was 5. I have been a regular competitor in the British trials championship for many years. I rode round 2 of the championship at Westwood near Barnsley and I have to say I think it was one of the worst trials I have ridden this year. I rode the championship class going up from expert A last year as the rules have changed to non-stop and they were meant 2 ease the sections. But I dropped over 100 which is more than I usually did last year. This is because the sections were not set to the rules and some are un-rideable without stopping!!! So where's the severity change??? With the current rules you are als…

I’ve slowly started getting back into trials. I’m now keen to have a bash at some local events but I’m wondering what bigger events are out there I should look at? The Scott and Jocko 6 are two I’d really like to try at some point. I’ll only ever be clubman class at best. Happy to try anything though as long as it involves lots of riding! Any others?

Hi, BUMPY (www.bumpy.org.uk) is a Bradford based charity organisation which, amongst other things, are training young people (6 - 16 years) in trials riding. As the young people are developing their skills they have identified a need to purchase a 50cc trials bike to enable the younger members to ride and learn alongside the older ones. So, on Saturday 8th Sept at midday they are holding a fund raising event at the George Hotel, Low Moor, Bradford Instead of riding on Thursday evening we spent the time building obstacles and intend to hold a demonstration on Saturday so you can see how well they are doing If any of you are around it would be really great to see y…
