Due to the fact the US is such a large country, and the increase in cost, and time to travel to the national championship rounds, for those clubs on the west coast, would it not make sense to start a west coast series. Currently the Pacific north west, has a series of two day championship rounds hosted by three US clubs and two Canadian clubs, could this series or one similar be extended to include a couple of Californian clubs to make it a true west coast championship?. The PNTA rounds could still count as PNTA points rounds, but also count for a whole west coast championship. All the events would be located along the I.5 corridor stretching from BC Canada to the Mexi…

Hello all. New club is starting up here in the wild, wild west. This is the announcement that I posted on ADV a couple of months back when the club was formalized - I am proud to announce the formation of a new Trials club, the High Plains Trials Association. Serving Eastern New Mexico, the Texas Panhandle, western Oklahoma and south Kansas, the club was formed to offer Trials riders in these areas an opportunity to ride and compete somewhere closer than northern New Mexico, south-central Texas, or points further. The first two posts here will always be updated with club info, event results, and whatever fun we come up with. We also have T-shirts available. Gots to…

Chris Florin will be the US champ for 07. I'm a gambling man, anyone care to place bets? This could turn out to be a good year for me if Fraceman takes me up on my other bet!

Hey Dude, Congratulations on your victory this weekend!!! I've been waiting for this one for a while [not as long as you]. You've worked hard and shown incredible spirit, strength and I'm proud as hell to be associated with you. Maybe it's time for the rest of you "My child is gonna be the next world champion" soccer moms to take a second to pay some respect to this kids accomplishments of late. While your looking at yourselves in the mirror, Cody is out there kicking some serious ass, including the 23 time national champ Geoff Aaron. I'm thowing a huge party in Lake Isabella this weekend for Cody. Hope you all can come.

I was just looking at the standings after the GB round on Trialsonline.com when I noticed the provisional schedule for the 2007 year. The was no US round listed. Is that the way it will be or just maybe not? Anyone know? Sorry if this has already been discussed, I could find anything on it.

Does the seat height or lack of a seat at all have anything to do with Trials Bike Sales or the Popularity of the Sport. I was looking at my sons 2010 Sherco and my '76 Honda TL 250 and thinking. After deciding to hang up my MX Boots in 1975, I decided to give Observed Trials a try although I had never attended an event. But upon deciding to purchase a TL 250, I figured it would make a great trail bike if Observed Trials wasn't for me. I was hooked after my first event. But I am just wondering if the lack of a basic seat on newer models turns people off as current Trials Bikes look too specialized. When I watch new riders ride a modern Trials Bike for the first tim…

We'll we made it through another one. These kids are amazing. Good isn't good enough! Got to see friends from far away lands and meet new ones. We need SIRHC to post a picture of his Montesa, (beautiful bike Chris). The kids riding the 1 line where quite an emotional bunch this year. They are all so compeditive (Mich lins word) and can be very hard on themselves. The Mizell kids are not just great riders but great kids too. Jacob had a birthday on Sunday and as he was on the podium the entire crowd sang happy birthday to him, pretty cool. I got to see David doing a nice long wheelie with a BIG surprise at the end, seems he didn't find his rear brake pedal in …

Well it has only rained in Southern California about three times this year, yet this morning we had a strange occurrence.......SNOW. I know this may sound stupid to the rest of the country, but a small dusting got us all exited especially the kids. This is out my son's window and my daughter on the balcony it was the first time she has seen snow. It was also a little strange as I drove them to school the sun came out and there was still a little snow falling. The kids where a little disappointed they didn't get a snow day though

What a wild night. Denver was a sell-out crowd. 14 trials riders showed up in the trials class. I'll get more details as my mind clears. Here's what I can remember as of now. Pro main event. Geoff Aaron was top trials-man, finishing second behind Damon Huffman. Taddy was third. Colton, I believe was 5th. And my rider, Phillip, finished 10th. Colton and Geoff got in through the heats. Phil won the Dash-for-Cash to get in. Man, what a race. My heart can't take too much more of this last race in the main crap. 4 riders got hauled off to the hospital, including Dustin Headwall. Possible broken foot. (Get well, kiddo.) The track was insane difficult. In the trials class P…

In many ways Trials could be considered a marketable product, that could be why the NATC does an annual rider poll/survey,possibly to improve the brand and gain marketshare. The trouble is they only compare themselves to themselves, which is an admittance to being the only game in town for anyone interested in an AMA series championship placing. Also having the survey after the season is over means any possible improvement is a long wait off. I propose a poll to compare the Natc product to what else is available. So far this season I have been at 3 different major events in the USA. 1st was the Sooner Cup in OK. next the WTC at TTC and then the first 3 rounds of Natc at …
