Glad to see that tentatively we might be getting a world round back next year. No doubt that Dan Brown and the crew will do a top notch job again. http://www.fim.ch/sec/documents/f_4649.pdf --Biff

Mich Lin, I have a question about foot position, I'm confused about riding on the balls of my feet or on the shank? I always was told to ride on the balls of my feet on moto I dabble in bike trials and ride Sport level, some Expert bike trials riders mentioned that I should stop riding on the balls of my feet and more on the shank for stability. Should I adapt this style of foot position for moto? I understand that going up ledges you need to be on the balls, not to catch the toes and doing large drops for more absortion of shock. sam

Two New England Trials (NETA) clubs, CATRA and Rhode Island Trials Riders will be hosting vintage trials events this season. Are there any other vintage trials happening this year in the North Eastern USA? I understand D-4 has a vintage series, any info on the schedule or how to become part of the series. It would be nice to see more vintage events, I know there are maney of us who have these wonderful old machines at home just waiting to be riden again. Thoughts.....

Some of the USA high lights of 2007. Im sure some of you have some also. This is no particular order. 1. Patrick wins US Nationals. 2. Cody wins the Indoor Nationals 3. Patrick wins some 125 World Rounds 4. The USA TDN getting 6th. I knew they would do good and will only get better. 5. Endurocross. I only went to Vegas so Colton getting a 4th and getting a ride with KTM for last man standing and finishing 16th. 6. Endurocross. Just watching the Trials guys kick ass. All that rode did very well. I was at the edge of my seat watching. Cheering YELLING 7. Most improved rider would have to be Will Isben. Great job Will 8. The 125 National Class. I thought this class w…

I recently received a survey in my email specifically for riders that rode the national series in 2012, but not in 2013. Many of the questions were asking as to why I chose not to ride this season, and, judging by some of the available answers, it appears they had noticed the topic on this forum started by Martin. Now, I can't say for certain as to if this is the first year they have done this type of survey or not, since this is the first year I haven't ridden nationals since I started in '03. I would assume this is a first just judging by the drastic decline this season. I must give them credit though, at least they are addressing it.

We'll we made it through another one. These kids are amazing. Good isn't good enough! Got to see friends from far away lands and meet new ones. We need SIRHC to post a picture of his Montesa, (beautiful bike Chris). The kids riding the 1 line where quite an emotional bunch this year. They are all so compeditive (Mich lins word) and can be very hard on themselves. The Mizell kids are not just great riders but great kids too. Jacob had a birthday on Sunday and as he was on the podium the entire crowd sang happy birthday to him, pretty cool. I got to see David doing a nice long wheelie with a BIG surprise at the end, seems he didn't find his rear brake pedal in …

My son started in trials this year and I am thinking of letting him go down for the camp and the championship. Just wondering what to expect.... Also how easy/hard it is to get onsite lodging (if I send him and his dad and leave with the vehicle....) worth the 18hr drive? Thanks

It was a nice day today in Colorado. The sections were dusty slippery and technical. When the dust settled (literally) it was Patrick Smage with the win, Will Ibsen in second and Chris Florin rounding out the podium. Here are some photos of the top three. I'll have lots of photos on my site after the weekend. Including the Expert and support classes. Enjoy, Vince
