Hi all, after a little advise, I'm looking to get my son a trials bike for his birthday in a couple of weeks. I have been looking at getting a beta 80 junior, but these are like hens teeth in the second hand market. Are 80 big wheeled bikes the same size as a full size bike?? I don't want to get him a big wheel and then he finds it to big and heavy and doesn't enjoy it! He knows his way around bikes, rides a ktm 65 in enduro. Can ride my bike but feels it's to big and says he wants a small one here he is riding mine to guage his size....

I'm 16 and currently ride competitions, the only problem is I'm now on a 250, I'm with the acu can I 'legally' still compete on this, sorry if it's a stupid question, would appreciate any answers, I'm not the 'cleverest' of people so as simple as possible Thanks

I want to get my 11 year old son a trials bike. Gas powered is preferred. The riding around here, in Squamish, British Columbia, Canada, is long climbs with steep technical trails. Me and my buddies are less into observed trials, more into climbing steep rock faces and wicked rooty sections. Electric doesn't cut it here. This is obviously not the type of terrain for my beginner son, who has no motorized experience, but is a decent mountain biker. Is a 125 to big?

game. Thursday night me and a few friends where out playing football and my mate kicked the ball good high, anyway being a rugby player I went to catch it. Too cut a long story short, ive broken my thumb. Im now possibly considering quiting trials dew to I have my exams in a few weeks and will be starting work and after breaking my leg ive lost interest. So not sure what too do at the moment. So im out for a further 4 weeks, soo keep your eyes open western centre riders for a new observer lol. cheers Alex

We will soon start planing the final round of the British youth trials championship, and with it the indoor trial. I organised last years indoor all by myself from start to finish, and would not do it again unless it became a team effort. If there is enough intrest the IOWMCC may run it again, but we would like the opinion of everyone who attended last years event first. How many people would come to the Island if the indoor was run later in the year? One problem we found last year was that it used up people who should have been helping with the main trial on the Saturday, please let us know what you think and how important it was to the whole weekend etc etc.

Hi i'm after one or even better 2 riders to compete in the inter centre team trial on 10th september. i need riders from B or C class, i have 3 A class riders confirmed. Anyone traveling to this weekends A/B national on the IOW can either park at Brickfields near Ryde overnight or at my place near Parkhurst, where you can also go practising if you wish. The IOW A/B round on Sept 9th will now be held at Duxmore quarry which is between Havenstreet and Arreton and next to Robin hill country park where about 20 thousand hippies will be raving it up all weekend, so this trial will probably have a musical back ground. Duxmore is one of the best venues on the Island and will have some mega sections. BAD NEWS at the time of posting this the sec of meeting has recieved no entries? More to follow.
