Hi Guy's I have been told this morning that entries to the Open classes at the Classic Trials Show, August 21/22, are to close in seven days. So if you want a ride on Saturday, or Sunday, or both, so you can enjoy the evenings entertainment, You Need To Send Your Entries off NOW. If you have a bike lurking in the shed get it out, dust it over and bring it along, you can ride it or put it into one of the show classes. it's YOUR decision. PS Don't forget that there is a

Quite frankly I find me old TL-250 to be one the most fun Trials bikes I have ever ridden. I think back that I had more fun in No Stop Twinshock than the modern stuff. Cheaper too! Don't forget to state your reasons why!

I bought a Sherco 290st the other day and its great apart from the clutch. When started from cold the clutch won't disengage so if you drop it into gear the bike shoots forward. If you keep dropping the clutch with the engine off and rolling the bike back and forward it frees off. I take it that's not normal. Also once riding the clutch does seem slightly heavy I don't know how heavy it should be but I'd say it's sightly heavier than my mx bikes clutch.

Came across this Movietone clip. I think there are probably more trial clips if you search the archive. http://www.movietone.com/N_POPUP_Player.cfm?action=playVideo&assetno=95964

Got a few bikes that run points ignition, and im fed up paying over the odds for variable quality condensers. Anyone using modern ceramic or polyester capacitors instead, do they work, and if so care to divulge what size you're using, or tried? And yes, i do know solid state ignition systems exist.

I'm new the Pre 65 trial scene, and keep reading conflicting reports on who and were to get a engine cc converstion done on my Tiger Cub, SERCO is a name that keeps cropping up but i understand that it has changed hands, new owners etc, and the web site and contact details i have seen on this site dont seem to be working out. so if any of you better inlightened people out there could help, that would be great. I live out here in Dubai, so the pre 65 scene consist of me and my mate Martin !!! 1. who and were are the best people to get a 230, or 250 cc converstion kit for my cub? 2. And best people for Trials parts for the same bike? thanks in advance !!

Looking at the todo trial classic site, and also in the video on zona trial, i notice one of the top twinshock riders is using an aprilia TXR mono converted to twinshock. I know its a mono because theres a few subtle differences from the t-shock frame and i have owned both models. Are the spanish now allowing converted mono's or is he pulling a cheeky one?

Hello everybody Just bought myself a Cota 348 with the intention of doing some classic/twinshock trials like the Kendal Classic Nostalgia Trial. Idea was to practice in the garden, the top part is particularly steep and wooded, because whilst I have ridden for years I've never done trials. Very small budget so I looked for a tatty bike, but had to be a runner. Eventually found one at
