Fantic 200 Minarelli. Have a slight oil leak from where the small push rod enters the caseing. Understand there's an O ring on that rod, and want to change it and hopefully stop the leak. Problem I have is I can not get the rod out. Can get it to poke its noise out with a magnet then grab it with some small pliers but can't get it out. Am I not trying hard enough, or have I missed something? Thanks.

Got a 1984 fantic 240 and it's always had weak brakes. Just put new shoes new cable and lever on it but it has made little difference. I've tried to leave everything loose cable tie the brake on and then tighten everything up but still the brakes are weak. The brakes bite but the lever still feels spongey and pulls nearly all the way to rhe bars after it bites. I've seen on here somewhere that the centre hole on the backing plate can be opened by 0.5mm ish to help centralise the the shoes in the drum. Is this my best chance of getting better brake performance before I go and enlarge the hole? Thanks for any replies!๐

On occasion my Fantic 200 rear kick jumps out of bottom gear. I have been advised it's likely to be the spring holding the location bearing under the selector drum. I have stripped the engine and removed the gear cluster and inspected all components, no obvious damage , gears and dogs are sound and no selector fork damage. I wish to replace the spring in case it's worn , but how do I find a replacement, does any one have a spec or a source, I believe there is no official stock left Any suggestions

Afternoon, Anyone know where I can get a new brake cam? Grimeca 125mm, Fantic 200, the thread has practically worn away. I could turn it down in the lathe and thread it 6mm but I'd prefer a new one really. Cheers in advance.

Hi, I've bought a Fantic, which seems to be a bitsa - I was told by the seller it is a 245 with K-Roo bottom end, which is why it has a hydraulic clutch. I bought it knowing the clutch slave seal is goosed. I didn't realize the slave is inside the engine. But, the seller issued me with another set of 212cc crank cases which have the cable type of clutch and advised me to swap the internals into these cases. Does this sound doable, please? I'll try to post some pictures. Regards, Rab

Hi all, Iโm new here but have a nice little 200 that needs some tidying . it came with betor forks which donโt seem common on uk bikes, I believe the bike came from Holland but no one in the know has seen internals like them, one thing is they are super plush. Iโve seen another pic with them on but wondered if it was just a batch they had or if someone added them later for whatever reason. thanks

Can anyone tell me if these are the same, I thought the way the brake plates were held in place was different for a start and I would have thought some dimensions between the two would differ also. Thanks.

I've got the FM236 special (alloy rims and skidplate) , But Man ...A Fantic lawnmower and my collection would be complete (for now.) Could their diversification been part of their downfall ??? They still make highend coffee machines though ....
