Hi, Can anybody tell me where it is possible to get settings for Carb for 2007 TXT Pro 300 Settings? The Gas Gas Manual doesn't have much detail! I think it might not be running quite as good as it should be. The idle seems a little low (which alone is an easy fix if i can find the right screw!) but it seems a little smokey and it takes alot of kicks to get it started. I've checked the plug and it seems a little oily. The most annoying thing is how difficult it is to get it started though. The spark plug gap is about 0.7-0.8mm but i notice on the NGK website they state it should be 0.5mm. Would this make a big difference? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

just curious if any one has had a cold lock up. Loaded the bike outside temp wasabout -3C drove about 20 min and unloaded the bike. Went to kick the bike over and it was frozen like a seized motor. Removed the spark plug thinking it might be full of coolant but nothing. My riding partner then mentioned he had a propane torch after I mentioned it might be a cold lock up. After slowly heating the cylinder on all sides I started rocking the bike and slowly the piston started to move and then was free up completely. Reinserted the spark plug and first kick she flashed to life, let it idle until fan kick on and rode it all day with no problems. I thought I would just …

hi all, i have 2010 gasser 250 and both the front forks have a very shallow scratch on them. on one side this causes the oil to weep out very slightly, luckily the scratches are quite high up and its not a massive issue but its annoying and i want to get them sorted. a local engineer that i use at work has told me he can fill the scratches and polish them smooth, i will also change the fork seals because im sure they will have been damaged but im not sure what gas gas have used to black the forks. is it powdercoat?, annodised? if anyone knows please let me know. simon

I've just had my 2011 pro frame powder coated and after putting it back together I don't have a spark, I've cleaned around the engine mounts to make sure the engine had a good earth. My question is ... Where the coil fastens to the frame do both mounts have to be clear to earth, or just the top or just the bottom? Any one else had any similar problems? Thanks in advance Steve

Hi guys Got a 2012 Txt Pro Racing - my first trials bike so I'm not yet familiar with what is normal and what isn't. Went out for a quick ride tonight and after about 20 minutes practising in work car park with a few pallets (very slow - trackstands, endos etc) I noticed that steam was coming out quite fast of the radiator overflow pipe and the odd spit of coolant. I immediately turned the bike off and the vapour continued to come out for about 15 seconds then stopped. The fan hadn't come on once during the ride. This actually happened on my first ride on the bike a few weeks ago. Last week I spent probably 4 hours in 20 minute stints doing again pretty slow stuff and …

So, would now be a good time to try and get a good deal on a Gasser? Are dealers going to hang on to them at full price or will they discount? Thoughts?????

Hello, just bought a few months ago a GG280 2005 from an hunter which he was using to ride around the forest. The number of hours it has on it it's sadly unknown and after changing piston, clutch, rebuilding the suspensions and the linkage and countless money I blew it has a strong Vibration when I cleanout the engine. This happens when the revs go up and at a certain rotation it starts vibrating like mad. All screws are nice and tightened and I'm thinking about crankshaft bearings or even unbalanced crankshaft. Any thoughts? Cheers

Hi I have a 2008.5 txt raga 300 and am trying to service my fork. I dropped the lowers and drained the oil, I tried to remove the top caps but they are attached to the spring assembly. I am not sure what type of forks they are. It says Sachs on the fork stickers so I would assume that's what they are?? I am not to sure how to set the oil height as the spring assembly is attached to the top cap??? Any suggestions
