Hello. I bought a gas gas txt cadet 80 2011 model for my son. Unfortunately the kick was broken when we picked up the bike. I am struggling to find a new one to buy. anyone know where these can be ordered?

Hi Just cleaning the deep cleaning the bike, noticed the rear spring was wound to max height, What would be a good base/Factory setting for the platform? does it just effect ride height? Thanks Azz

Hi Our Clubs 2005 Rookie has severe difficulties on shifting gears. I expect there is a bent shift lever axle or something? You agree? There is several very good descriptions in this forum and of cause Jon & co`s video tutorials on opening a Pro engine, but I havent found anything on how to open a 50-80 ccm GasGas engine. Is this because it is so straight forward job that it doesnt need any further description or what? Any tips before I start opening it? -Jan

I bought a 2013 TXT 280 about 6 months ago. I am new to anything related to trials bikes. Anyone know why the bike would have a slight grinding sound when the motor is running in neutral? I doubt the bike has many hours on it, as it looks showroom new. Thanks,

So I bought my first GG the other day and I'm not sure how tight to screw in the air filter retaining screw. I feel like I'm over tightening it, but obviously I don't want it to fall out.

Hi folks! Ive recently purchased a 2006 txt 280 pro and had a few issues! I had an overheat issue ( no fan running) and replaced the voltage regulator and all seemed well ( workshop run ups only). I have today attempted to take her our for a good ride and after 10mins of running the bike died and i now have no spark, ive checked and cleaned spark plug but no joy there! Any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers

The pistons in the rear caliper overlap the edge of the pad. Over time this has worn a step in the pistons, most annoying.This makes it critical that nothing is rotated and has to remain in same position otherwise the piston would act at an angle.. Anyone else had this problem.as I think its a bad design.. Deeper pads would solve this but are there any available?

Does anyone know the correct puller size for an 80cc gas gas, i think its a 19mm x 1mm but i,m not sure.

I've recently acquired a 2000 TXT280. I'm anxious to ride the bike since I've never been on a trials bike. I've ridden and raced mx for 30 years. Anyway, I need some parts to finish it up so I can ride it. If you know a good direction let me know. Also, where is the best place online to get parts for a Gas Gas? I don't have a local dealer as I'm near Birmingham, Alabama. I know I'll need both carb boots. I think I've located a mid-pipe. Eventually, I hope to replace the plastic and decals to make it look nice.

Hi all My dad took his gas gas out today,it wouldn't idle so we adjusted it and it didn't do anything. It was also really unresponsive tried adjusting that but it didn't change anything. We took the carb off and cleaned it thourluly whith carb cleaner. Now it won't start. There is a spark Does anyone know what would be wrong? Thanks,ben

As above… anything to watch out for? Bike (07 250 TXT Pro) has a rideable slow puncture. Band was replaced a couple of years ago with the tyres and the rear rim. It was leaking after being rebuilt by the shop, they sealed it and also trued the wheel up. Wary of what I’m going to find when I pop the tyre off… maybe it’ll be as simple as swapping the band?🤪

Ok, so I rebuilt the rear suspension on my 2000 TXT200. Rear shock had a blown seal and I replaced all of the bearings in the linkage. Where do I start for static sag...1/2 inch and rider sag...2 inches? The knob for adjustment at the bottom is this for rebound? Lastly what would be a good starting/factory setup for it? I checked the static sag using a stand and measured the distance of rear sag and then with the weight of the bike and I have 2 inches of sag. I think this is ok. I'm 160lbs with gear. Thanks Peter
