Been raiding the photo albums, and thought this may be appreciated!! The young Italjetfan is about 6 months old. I actually tried to recreate the shot on a different Bulty when my daughter was the right age. only to find my Mum had thrown Dad's trials overalls away about a month earlier!!! Shame... Did the Bulty survive? All the best,

Have just finished fitting Italkit Ignition system to my Sherpa T250 199A, with a few mods it is surely the best system on the market. The simple removal and replacement of different weighted flywheels, makes it easy to setup your bike for all sorts of different terrains {I need all the help I can get} anyway thought you all may be interested if someone is in the market for such an item. I bought it from spain...

I have just finished bolting together my M91 sherpa and have a query at the moment it has no airbox on and is being run with an open carb (not ideal I know) but I noticed exhaust gas coming out of the carb is this normal and if not what would it point to the engine has been professionally rebuilt (new piston, mains, big end etc) and the carb is the original amal 627 Thanks Pete

Seem to recall reading somewhere that Bultaco Frontera footrests can be fitted to the 199a, what is the difference between these and the std footrests and do they fit straight on without alteration.

Not sure whether this is the right forum, but there seems to be more knowledge of twin shock Bultacos here. Just acquired a fairly original (85) Alpina, and I could do with some advice and information. Does anyone out there have one? These are my pressing questions Where can I buy new/secondhand bits? Does anyone have a handbook for sale? Were the rear shocks longer than the Sherpa? Should there be a foam filter in the air box? Does anyone have one? Why did I buy it? Perhaps Big John's disorder is spreading? Thanks Geoff

Can anybody help me? My sherpa m80 has 520 chain with 11 tooth sprocket on the front, and 40 tooth on the back, but is to fast at low throttle in first gear. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which sizes of sprockets to use. Dont think I can go any smaller on the front so it probably needs larger on the back, but what size?

I recently aquired a 199A which I plan to ride vintage with. I have two questions. It has the original (skinny) Betor shocks which need to be rebuilt. Are there rebuild kits available for these shocks and if so where can I get them. If I were to put a new set of shocks on this bike what are some of the recommendations? Thanks

My 159 will kick up ok on choke and run fine although it needs the odd blip to keep it going when the choke is off. However, after about a minute from starting it just dies as if there is no fuel getting through. It's fitted with a Bing Carb. Any suggestions or tips gratefully received.

The rebuild continues but I am struggling with the swingarm bushes on my 350 199A. After trying a Sammy Miller kit which wasn't too succesful I have got a set of Bushes from Dave Renham. I have pressed in the Bronze outers which seemed to take more effort than I thought it should but there is no way the inners will go in without what seems like an equal amount of effort. My assumption is that the outers rotate on the inners is that correct or does the whole assembly rotate on the spindle? Is it normal to need a lot of effort to fit the outers and are the inners normally that tight? All advice and suggestions gratefully received before I have to mortgage the kids t…
