Hi think i found a clear protector for my carbon termignoni the sides were wearing and turning grey. I bought this stuff about fifteen years ago and still had it laying around so i tryed a small spot first a light scuff with 300 grit. Then brushed it on let it dry over night wow you couldn't tell it was worn. The heat dosnt bother it leaves a hard finish. If and when it wears add another coat. ?

Both me and my mate have an ossa mar. Yesterday we had them side by side and we noticed that my bike has the brake on the left, and his is on the right? Which is correct? When googling images of ossa's we have found both?

I have a Tr300 that I just replaced the shift drum for and now I am having problems getting the engine back together. I have tried literally everything but the clutch fingers keep binding against the inside of the clutch cover and the kickstart will not engage or at least due to the engine being locked up. I have taken it apart and put back together about 20 times now and the main gear of the clutch is always flush against the primary gear on the crankshaft so I know that is not the issue. The tranission is also seated tightly against the engine and the secondary gear is at the right distance. I assembled my transmission drum based on this video but also noticed that the …

Hi Guys, My 2012 Tr280i Ossa shut-off while riding and did not want to start again. I’ve already check the spark plug (was dirty/black), checked the air filter (was clean) and checked that the gas pump was working and it was. Then, I replaced the spark plug … but still... doesn’t want to start. I guess the next step to test should be whether there is electricity or spark being generated?... however. the spark-plug cap is so deep that it seems pointless to put it against the frame and kick it to check it (as on a regular carb bike) + this one being a fuel injected… I don’t know whether the best thing to check is through the “Diagnostic Software” ? or is there any othe…

I have a 2014 tri 300 and the braktec front calliper has started to seep oil between the two halfs ,I take it the rubber seal has probably split. Problem is when I've looked online for the repair kit but they only show for the gas gas racing models and never ossa is it still the same thing? And there tends to be two types one for around £20 and one newer version for about £40 anyone know which would be the one I need?

Hello everyone. What is the current state of Ossa parts and part availability for used bikes, worldwide Especially in the U.S.??? As a bike dealer I ask this in regards to taking a 2014 300 In on trade. With Ossa being no more how is that effecting the overall re sale of a non existent manufacturer??? Any input would be sweet!!!! Thanks Andy

Hey guys, I WILL GET A BOOK...SOON but, in the mean time I'm trying to sort a couple of things out so I can get a little riding in. I noticed a couple of bolts missing from the rear of the bash plate on my bike which probably accounts for a lot of the noise my bike seems to make. The more I looked at it, which really wasn't very long, it "seemed" pretty apparent that the only way to get the bolts in and get nuts on them, which are under the rear of the engine, is to 1.) remove the engine, 2.) bolt/nut up the bash plat, 3.) put the engine back in....IS THAT RIGHT!? Seems like it has to be but, certainly not very convenient. It looks like with the bash plate in place, get…

I am working on a 2012 Explorer in quite nice condition. The fuel injector is not working. I tested with battery power directly, it works great then down to about 6Vdc. Fuel pressure 50psi. When I run the injector test in the diagnostics, I can just hear injector click, but it does not open to squirt fuel. I tested voltage on with injector in place, doesn’t even move the meter. 9Vdc without injector. I suspect bad earth in the loom. I do not have a diagram for the early bikes (these have a battery from new). Ideas?

Following the last trail I did, I now unfortunately have a crack between the sump plug hole and the case edge. I assume the only way to fix this will be to strip the engine and get it welded ?! With this in mind what parts at a bare minimum will I require ( seals, gaskets, bearing etc...) I don't know anything about the history of the engine, the power seems ok ( though I have never rode another MAR to compare it to), but whilst it's apart what else would you suggest I consider doing to it ? On the same trial that I cracked it, it started slipping out of first gear and going to neutral. I have re-ground a better point on to the detent pin which has …

Hi just seeing if anyone can tell me how the air box is bolted to the frame, do the bolts go through the side panel then through the air box cover and then through the air box itself. It’s hard work trying to get this bike back together with no manual lol. Thanks Martin
