I have a 72 OSSA MAR. When I look in the literature I have for 72 OSSAs (hard and electronic), they don't list the MAR. Which model is the closest to the MAR: Pioneer Plonker/Explorer Super Pioneer/Phantom Thanks, Jim

My clutch sticks when not running and can usually be broken free but once in a while it is pretty stuborn. Would there be anything wrong with elastic or something to keep the clutch lever pulled while the bike sits so the clutch doesn't have the opportunity to stick. I saw that suggested for cars and wondered if it would be OK with the clutch springs on the OSSA. Thanks for any thought on this. Jim

Hi I currently have a 2011 Beta evo 250 and am considering replacing it with an Ossa. I am looking at 2011 and 2012 models, are there much differences between them ?. How reliable are the Ossa`s and what sort of regular maintainence do you have to do to them ?. I have read about the re-mapping that needs to be done, what other mods need to be done. ? . I know the bikes are light but how do they ride compared to a Beta ?. Hopefully help from forum members will point me in the right direction, many thanks.

Hi there, Anyone know where i can get a spanner to adjust the spring on the rear shock. Don't like the idea of using a hammer and screwdriver or a hammer and a piece of wood! I find the rear shock really softens up too quick. I am not heavy <75 kg but find it bottoms out way too easy! Thanks

Hi, I have a newly restored Ossa Mar that has not yet had the lighting harnesses made up and installed. I am looking for a few good pictures of how the harness are routed e.g. between the switch and the headlight, the headlight back towards the supply and ground wires, as well as from the rear brake switch and the tail light. If anyone has a MAR where these harnesses have been properly set up I would sure appreaciate a pic of them so I can know how to fabricate / install my own. thank you kindly. Hi, Im running an Ossa 2011 with an update clutch (internals) to 2012 specs. First of all I love the bike - it is amazing in every aspect except for the clutch engagement in my opinion. To me it seems the clutch is engaging at different positions ( a millimeter or two in or out) this occurs the first time used after heavy use ie revving and shooting off. One could say it bites slightly better after a hard use. Bike has less than 20 hrs on it - will it get better or should I consider bleeding the system, changing the clutch lever oil reservoir to a bigger size? Or just plainly used it hard to see if it beds in better? Thanks in advance, K.

Hi Anyone know the front and rear suspension travel on the TR280i 2012, need to know it when setting sag and I cant find it in the manual.

Anyone changed the rear sprocket ? I have been told that aftermarket 4 bolt sprockets need some sort of machining to fit ? what needs to be done ? Also anyone know if a 44 rear sprocket will fit onto a std chain ?

Anyone else had their coolant turn to a grey colour? Doesn't appear to have oil in it, and there is no water in the engine oil - its just gone grey and looks horrible. I don't know if its just broken down or if the stuff in the bike has been eating the alloy? We've flushed it out and put fresh (good quality) coolant in there today and I will change it again in a week to be sure all the bad stuff is flushed out. I've emailed a photo of the coolant to the importer. Also anyone know at what point in the delivery chain would the coolant be added to the bike?

i ve jus been looking at some photos of yesterdays practice lap from the west of england BTC and Guy Kendrew has a silver non sealed rear wheel fitted to his ossa, anyone know how to convert a std wheel to fit ? jsp
