Are any knee guards/ pads available that provide good side protection for knees, both inside and outside? I have a bad habit of hitting both of those areas. EVS Option was the best I could find that wrapped a bit around the inside and outside but I'm limping around today from a hit to the inside of my knee when falling down in a rock pile. Any input or recommendations would be helpful I have seen some that look like socks with foam but they don't look to have any kind of hard plastic shell. How do they survive sharp rocks? Hi all i have got hold of a couple of used Osets for my kids and they are loving it ! No fear and plenty of confidence LOL. I slightly more worried. I had them at the trials club today on a training day and they did well but couple of falls on rocks bashed knees/elbows led to tears then couple of minutes later back up and off again. They fine but i now thinking do they need knee/elbow protectors? Obviously they have helmets/boots/gloves. How do knee protectors work with boots? I knew to trials myself so maybe i just over worried ? Any advice from other parents would be great i don't want them to be wrapped up in cotton wool just want to be sure i doing right by them. Man…

Got some of the new RYP gloves, and I like them! Like riding NAKED! For those who like THIN and next to nothing!!!! Good on the grips, yet thin and tactile, an spandex on the backs, so no protection there, but many do not need it. Cost less too, at $25, makes them right, what is that? 15 quid? I liked my XC, but! at a decent price, these things are near disposable for me, after a while!

Hi Im looking for some trials boots but want to try them on I live in South Derbyshire and the only place I know of that sells trials boots is Leasure Trail but they only sell Hebo or Sidi. I have heard bad things about the Hebos so was thinking of the Forma Boulder I might even push the boat out and go for some Alpinstars no stops Does anyone know where I can go to try on differant makes in the East Mids at all?

Hello all. I only post this as as an apprentice funds are tight and have only managed to stretch this months wage to buy a helmet but plan on entering my first trial on Saturday. Would sturdy hiking boots jeans and a berghaus jacket be suitable to get started? Thanks Scott

Hi, Is there an online directory of UK trials shops? I usually buy online but I'm looking for boots and would prefer to try them on due to having wide feet and large calfs. Looking at the cheaper end of the range, definitely under £150. I'm in North East England, and visit North Yorkshire frequently. Thanks Allan

If anyone is thinking about getting new trials kit, personally, Raw Sports is the one to get! Raw Sports is made by Hebo, which everyone knows is good kit and Raw Sports have some great designs too! Had some Clice kit pervious to my new Raw Sports kit, and thought it was very cheaply made, ripped and broke easily and only lasted me 8 months. Has anyone else found this with Clice kit? Thanks

I've got a pair of Sidi Trial Zero's that have seen one re-sole and are coming due for their second. The uppers are still going strong but the soles wear through at the pegs far too quickly as far as I'm concerned so I'm not going to put on another pair of Sidi soles. Does anyone have any feedback about durability of Forma or Gaerne soles? My other option is to see about getting them soled with Vibram Boulder or Claw rubber - that's pretty tempting as you pretty much know what you're getting with Vibram soles!

Afternoon all. Anyone know if you have Gaerne boots re-soled? I've got a fairly young set that have got a hole in the sole. I seem to remember someone advertising re-soleing boots on eBay but can't find it anymore???

The vented Airoh looks interesting but there are no close dealers where I can try one for fit. Can anyone comment on the inside shape? Is it like the old Bieffe or more like a Shiro? Or....
