Looked outside around 4pm today....looked a bit wet still, but it wasn't raining and about 4C at 4pm, so I took the GasGas trials bike out for some playtime in the yard. Had a blast....a few dabs, but didn't dump the bike, and given that I did the monster log crossing (thanks Treeguy!) about a dozen times, zigzagged through the pine stand and did wheelies over the driveway, that was good! Even went for a bit of an exploring session...there's a hardwood bush SW of my place that has wide dirt tracks (pickup truck sized) criss-crossing all through it, and going within 200 metres of the 400 highway, with a few small hills, a bit of light mud, a stream crossing and just gene…

hi all does any one own a pair of alpinestars no stop trials boots, if so how are they? are they a good choice of boots? many thanks

Have picked up some new trials boots this weekend (forma boulder) and went to dig out my trusty dubbin only to find that its nearly empty. I have been using for years a brand known as "active dubbin in a tube" and have found it very good as its a gel type substance whch goes on easy and soaks in a treat now the problem is they have stopped producing it and was wondering has anyone else used a similar product that they can recommend thanks in advance

I have lost one of the insoles out of my boots ( don't ask ) they are Diadora Stone, but they have gone into liquidation so I cant get some from them. Has anybody any ideas of what else I cant use and what will fit as they are really uncomfortable without them in. Cheers

I have seen someone wearing yellow black and red riding kit. It looks alot like the ritratto kit but not sure if it was. If anyones got any ideas i would like to know. Thanks

Im yet to find one that fits correctly and doesnt feel like its pearched too high on top of my head,are the airoh lids any good?

Hi all As the post states really, Which hanle bar grips do people prefer? I use a renthal trials grip which i like but its the only one i have tried. I tend to crash a fair bit and go through a fair few sets,is there a better grip out there which is maybe a little tougher? cheers Adam

Hey Guys Time for new boots before the winter starts to set in. I have seen the TCX Terrain boots advertised on a few sites but are they any good??? I have been using Alpinestars for the past few years and they have been great. So I am curious to see how these compare? Thanks for the input guys.

I have a NZI fibreglass? helmet and was wondering, just with normal usage, roughly how long can I expect it to last before it needs changing ? I remember reading somewhere that road bike helmets need changing quite regular, because a helmet is like an egg shell and tiny cracks appear with usage, which cause the helmet to possibly break with an impact ! So if anybody has any ideas ? Phil

Does anyone know who stocks and sales 'Boot Buddy' in the UK or by mail order? I have seen a few guys with them and now want a pair. It looks like a elasticated cover that goes over the boot top and riding trousers to stop all the mud and crap going down your boots. The ones I've seen have been red with Boot Buddy UK * USA in white lettering. I asked the guys who had them and they got them at a show but need to know a supplier. Did try Goggling it but to no avail.. Any help much appriciated.

I have been using Hebo boots for the last few years and have sprained both of my ankles badly during that time. What would anyone recommend as trials boots that give the best ankle support?

Does anyone have novogar boots that rub at the outside of the ankle bone? What did you do to fix it? The fold of the boot at the ankle pushes inwards and rubs the crap out of my ankle bone. Only on my right foot.

Hoping someone can help me with a boot sizing question: I tried on some gaerne classic and oiled boots today. The 44's were great for width but my toes were touching the end, the 45's were way too big. I have very narrow & flat feet. Alpinestars always used to fit me quite well for enduro/mx boots so thought they may be ok but the dealer has none in stock. Are the gaerne's likely to give a little once they are bedded in? How are alpinestars for sizing, are they true to size (i've read the uk10 is a 44.5 so would be spot on and give me that little extra room. Thanks Hugh
