  1. Ah - but which standard mounts?? The steel ones on the plain Jane 4rt Or The alloy ones on the Repsol My 2007 Repsol has the alloy footpeg hangers and I have the Jitsie alloy pegs They seem fine for balance and comfort - not sure the pins are a benefit, they hinder sliding your boots I have thought about removing them Pins are just fashionable at present
  2. I use the Forcefield ones, very comfy and £75 Good protection too, saved my knees and shins a few times
  3. johnnyboxer replied to barfy's topic in Honda
    £5000-£6000 easy

  5. Who supplies the AJP in uk ?
  6. That's Kawasaki's strapline I agree, bit of a non event, Honda plays it safe................once again
  7. We managed before the EU & we'll managed again The wheels of trials bikes will keep on turning BTW many farmers voted to Leave last week - as they are fed up of cross compliance & EU regulations & many haven't received their farm sub payments, in full or at all this year anyway Most farmers would sooner plough their own furrow now ......just like most Trials riders
  8. Couldn't get that link to work?
  9. I bought a short alloy one & couldn't get on with it Went back to the original one I ride like you, so just moved foot forward The short one was almost impossible to find
  10. That is good to hear
  11. Indeed Reading all of this stuff, certainly puts me off as a younger rider........... to the Pre65/Britshock scene as it's a minefield On a modern bike, you just turn up and ride
  12. Nothing to either, except Elf 740 in gearbox
  13. Fantastic pic, the look on his face just shows sheer determination
  14. Nigel Birkett? How many consecutive SSDT's is it now? Another man marvel and finished 66th overall I think
  15. Summed up here http://www.dougielampkin.co.uk/html/html/DLPR090516.html
  16. I'm talking Trials all rounder and not bike sport in general However Doug has done ok in Enduros
  17. Why not? We are in a different age now, since 1990's Back in Sammy's day we didn't have Indoor Trials which is a whole different type of Trials competition I think he'd admit Doug was a Trials all rounder - a winner in every facet of the Trials discipline
  18. At 40 years old, Dougie has just won his 10th SSDT title Dougie just didn't 'win' it, by a narrow margin, he dominated the week and in the end won by 9 marks Nobody else ended up dropping less than 20 marks, for the whole week and some 180 or more sections To my mind (I might be biased) he the best all-round Trial rider, the sport has ever seen He's had a long and illustrious career, with 12 indoor and outdoor World titles, plus British championships, Scott Trial wins and of course SSDT wins and Trial des Nations team wins As an all rounder, I think he is the best of the best - the most 'complete' rider in the sport to date
  19. Michael Brown moves into top spot on day 3 Nice to see him and GasGas back on form after all their recent traumas Sections looked tough yesterday
  20. This one, apparently there's a Sherco down under there
  21. Day 2 and Doug has regained a slim lead over Michael Brown Good to see Michael Brown at the top of the tree again
  22. johnnyboxer replied to hoggyf's topic in Montesa
    I did say that
  23. Guy will probably just put it behind him and crack on with going fast again
