I use ipb buddy on an iphone 4 and whilst replying to a topic this morning, I foolishly clicked on full view when I replied
Now the forum appears in full view all the time and I can't reset it back to the normal phone view,
Tried all the settings on ipb buddy, but can't do it
Help - how do I get back to the original small view, for a techno dummy

A question for the lads who ride them in the Scottish, what are they like on the road?
What sort of speed will they maintain on say 10/41 gearing?
Anybody tried a 36t on the rear, to speed them up a bit
Thinking they would make a better bike than a Beta Alp/Scorpa T ride/Radonnee perhaps with a long ride seat/tank perhaps

Bloody National Park and Natural England, two quangos that add not a lot
Farming and lead mining have made the Dales what they are, they are man made and they should leave it to the farmers to look after the Dales as they have done for 300 years, they've done a grand job
It's the farmers' land, so if they want to allow trials on their land, they should be allowed to

Trials in Yorkshire, don't seem to be suffering (apart from the bloody weather lately)
The last Richmond one I did at Parkgate, had a 10.30 start and vans were still arriving, up to about 11am, with the car park field already full and the queue at sign on was still 20 deep at 10.30am
I think the trial got going at about 11am and I think the entry was about 100+ as a quick ready reckon
There were no queues at sections even on the first lap, because the trial was well spread out, with a group of sections, then a decent trek to the next one through fields/moor or woods
Maybe it was because there hadn't been a trial for ages or their trials venues are held in great countryside?

Getting rid of the airbox looks good, fine if you only ride in dry trials
How about waterproofing?
Won't take a lot to swamp that unifilter, will it ?
-
Just asking if tomorrow's trial is still on, as lots in Yorkshire have been cancelled (bloody weather again) this weekend??

-
How does that work?
The official importer, not being at the World's biggest TRIAL?

In your position, your best option is the CN offroad policy
I doubt you will be able to get road cover as you haven't got the correct bike licence
Which big trials do you want to ride?

Just buy a modern bike, instead of cannibalising a Twinshock by fitting a disc & ruining it
-
I reckon the bits will be in a scrapyard now for their weight
The thieves would probably have no idea what they were in reality & were just after the van
If it was a targeted theft, then I bet the bits are in Spain or France by now

Some great footage from 1955 in this 30 min film, from the Yorkshire film archive of bike motorsport
Expert Scrambles
Ilkley Grand National
Oliver's mount
Allan Jefferies Trial
Some great names in there Jeff Smith, Alan Lampkin etc and real bike action from the period

Unless he wants a 4T
I said that in my post, a 2T Evo will be a better bike in most people's hands - however we're not all the same and some prefer the Mont
Ride each bike and see what you like best
-
Very different bikes
An 2t Evo will be more competitive in most clubman's hands, no contest
4RT is a class act, not to everybody's liking - but when it all comes together, it does feel good
It always depends on terrain too, if you're riding more open type Northern rocky sections, these will favour the 4RT
-
Well done - if it was the Ebay one it looked nice
-
Get the Beta
The Gasser is a 12 yo bike and a bit pricey
If you have a bike licence, the Beta will be chepaer to insure and the Beta will make a great beginner's bike
