  1. might just need air screw adjusting to allow more mixture through
  2. dont try starting it like that you will cause damage , it looks like something needs resetting realigning
  3. the rings need to go through heat cycles from short warm ups before proper use
  4. run it until warmed up each night and let fully cool
  5. FROM MEMORY MY REV4 HAD A BLACK RUBBER BLANK ON HERE THEY SEEM TO PERISH AND SPLIT ,IT DIDNT SEEM TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE WHEN I FIXED THE SPLIT
  6. i had to get a 26x1.5 for a 307 with electronic ignition there is a set of around 12 pullers on ebay for not much more than what one costs
  7. the first digits can identify it by those in the know
  8. the subframe is only 2 brackets if needed, and i think the only difference is the air box if its a 2000 you gain access through the side but later ones you go through the seat panel so you would prob need an air box as well unless you can trim the later one to suit yours
  9. try at 6 turns out just to see if it cures the problem then see how it runs if it seems a bit spluttery low down turn in untill its smoother adjust when warmed up and try each setting by riding not just sat still if its rich it will feel as if the choke is on slightly ,,,, when it does start does turning choke on make a difference ie is the choke working , the slow jet is very small and easily blocked so a fuel filter is a must, removing fuel tap and cleaning filter on the tap might also help and a tank flush to remove and crap floating about inside
  10. not the nicest of predicaments to be in ,i would take greeves up upon his offer to try and identify parts and maybe try and group parts for each frame or project

  14. is it free from debris , is chain good and lubed ,tensioner in line ? and if not the brake it sounds like it could be a bad bearing in gearbox
  15. ouch but see how handy it came in lol
  16. could also be a problem with inner cogs or ratchet teeth on kickstart cog or spur or broken spring or washers missing causing weak pressure from spring or worn shaft bushes or even cracked inner case
  17. hes after the bolt that you can see in the pic ( not of his own lever ) not the one that holds it to the shaft
