See that is an example of what I mean. When I last filled up with Diesel last week I paid 99.9p per litre. The price of crude was at $97 - This week you are saying its at 107.9p/litre ( I haven't filled up yet locally so I cant compare the rise just yet) and the price of crude is $99. So, we are seeing an 8% price rise at the pumps for the fuel yet only a 2% rise in the price of crude. We are getting shafted! ( did I say that already )

Despite my better judgement than your better judgement, don't say 'we' elect the government when there is absolutely no way I would ever vote labour. The fact is at the last election, only 61% eligible to vote went to the polls and the majority actually voted the Conservatives in! But due to the way the country is carved up in seats, labour won. Labour achieved a 66-seat majority despite securing only 35% of the vote. Proportional representation would have seen a different government that what we have now. That's a good point and one that I must say crossed my mind however, I doubt HRC are holding a gun to his head to sign. If they want him and Beta wants him, and if money is not his motivator in this instance, then the choice will be what bike & team is best positioned to give him the ride he needs to make that 100th+ win he no doubt craves. There could be others in there fighting for him as far as we know until something official comes out.

I think many people would like to see Doug ride a Beta again- I know I have seen it written in these forums a few times. I hope it's true! There was too much stuff written about him retiring but I would love to see him keep going. Hes still one of the top 5 riders in the world after all.

With all due respect, Dougie would do much more for Beta than Fajardo could. I can't see that getting in the way if these rumors have any foundation.
