Why not try soaking in some solvent, thinners or petrol to see if this leaches out the contaminent?
Leave for a few days then lightly sand with some wet and dry smooth 400 grade paper on a flat surface.
Fit and run with ATF and drain soon.
May not work but is worth a try.

Looks like a pinky, frame numbers can be found on John Canes Trials and trail website
White paint original
Seat is a standard one

If you are talking about twin shock then the crankcases and covers are all different. Some internal parts fit
-
All the above advise is good but the rear wheel is whizzing round right next to the exhaust.
I have seen a magnet activated kill button attached to Fabio lenzis Future team bike.
As soon as you let go of left handlebar the magnet was pulled off by the attachment to your glove.
Even works at high rpm so would be good for kids.
Possibly made by acerbis or domino
-
Also illegal in trials.
The tread pattern is fixed, even cutting the front edge back to square makes it illegal as the gap between blocks is bigger
-
WES single box exhaust
Good rear shocks
That will be a good start so much more can be done however.
-
I was there as well, mega ride round super sections, harder than normal.
Saturday has communal meal and drink!
Everything low key and really friendly well worth the effort.
-
I seem to remember that Duncan Macdonald offered a service to mod Bultaco frames to Dave Thorpes works spec back in the 70's.
Would these be allowed? To my mind they should be, as should a ty250 twinshock with shocks moved to replicate a majesty.
I think we all know its going down the pre65 route so why not just let it happen without getting stressed but just have fun.
Organisers. Bung everything you don't like in the specials class and be done with it.
The whole issue is impossible to frame without exceptions and even more difficult to police.

I thing Twinshock trials in devon have a picture of a similar bike for sale on their website.

Can anyone tell me the procedure for dismantling/servicing Yam TYZ forks.
Thanks

24kg including oil. (53lb)
Best pound for pound twinshock engine in the world?
-
On youtube somewhere is a video of a certain M. Berlatier having fisticuffs with an observer.
Must be the Gallic temprament if big Bruno was at it so maybe its either that or they'll call a strike.
Observers are brilliant who else would stand in the rain all day for fun!!!!
-
Where was the connection between the bike that won the world championship and the one been sold at Sandifords? Stickers?
-
I think they will have a problem manufacturing enough bikes when fajardo wins the world championship!!!
-
Scotts were all 350cc four stroke, should be pretty dammed easy to tell the differnce between two and four banger!!!.
Sounds like a Piuma with a red frame
-
I think you will find the problem is not an EU one.
The EU makes the rules which are transposed into member state legislation.
this is why you can have different rules in different countries as it is a matter of interpretation.
Blame your national politicians first and leave the EU out of it for a change.
Or as they say Mutch ado about nothing (read the MCN article for the criptic joke)

Don't know who the builder is but what a star!!!!!!!
-
Are you trying to fit a tubeless tyre to a tubed rim?
If that is the case you will get the same symptoms as you describe.
If not use water to lube the bead and inflate to 50-60 psi to push out.

I need to remove the clutch basket on my mono.
Anyone know of a source for the clutch holding tool?
-
I think the bike is using a genuine RTL 270 full factory engine as used by Messers Lejeune saunders and Shirty Jr.
The sticker on the headlight says Edmonson racing which may be a clue.
The chassis is TLR 200/250 by the looks of it
-
I had more than a few beers (and glases of wine) with the German contingent on Saturday night.
Raced round like fury on Sunday so I could get home and watch the match!!!!
Wish I hadn't bothered.
Looking forward to Bilstain, sure we will meet.

I rode in last weeks EUROCUP round for sidecars (solo sections as well).
Great atmosphere and a really nice, friendly group of competitiors.
Enjoy your trip.

As has been said before a charming couple who will be sadly missed.
Eric could also often be found at club trials in the Northern centre, taking photos that almost certainly would never be seen again fot the pure pleasure.
I have a superb one of me with my old Aprilia Climber coming up a step (feet up for once) at Top O Cross area with the Scafell range in the background.
Fantastic image and happy memories.
good luck for the future!!!
