    Silencer 305

Try Snezzy trialsport in Trooz Belgium, they speak dutch!!!
  2. The TLR and RTL machines had a rear drum brake with the nipples attached at the drum end. Were they unique to these models or were they fitted to other bikes.
  3. Magical springs are superb, especially if combined with the alloy damper rod from Craig. Mono forks are much better overall but not "correct" for the bike.
  4. I have just changed the oil on my RTL using the big drain plug on the left side. Interestingly if you wait until the oil stops flowing then tip the bike towards the left an appreciable quantity of oil comes out. I repeated this 5 or 6 times and each time additional oil came out, progressively reducing to zero. I estimate a total of 50 to 60 cc were trapped inside upon normal draining so you would be mixing used oil with the fresh if you left inside.
  5. I am going to make a RTL exhaust to save my original. Does anyone have details of the inner workings. How critical are the dimensions on a four stroke?
  6. The exhaust middle box could probably do with a clean out as well.
  7. The problem is that 4 sections were impossible for all riders which in my eyes mean the were not well plotted.
  8. I think it is up to the Trial Commission to be as decisive as they were in changing the rules (which was certainly hasty, even if I agree with the approach) to get involved in making the sections rideable before the sport decends further in chaos! I hope Grimbo gets it spot on!!
  9. Looking at the results, it seems 3 sections were impossible, fives all the way. Adam, also fives another section where Bou escaped for a single 3. What went wrong??
  10. I am sure I read an article somewhere in Spanish, I will try to refind.
  11. I think the rider is 90% of the battle so no change for me.
  12. The reflex has the best option as it is much bigger than standard but rarely for sale. The early CR may also be an option. I was looking for a certainty rather than buying one and hoping it fits by looking at a photo.
  13. Drum brake, direct replacement of standard

    Tlr Front Wheel

Looking for a replacement wheel to fit directly into Honda TLR forks. Are any of the XL, XR or chinese bikes compatible?
  15. This was the protoype 360 which they used for a short while. There is some info in the Honda trials story book. One has been restored recently and now runs!
  16. Probably due to the increase in matrial and hardening quality which combined with better engineering allow tighter tolerances.Combine these features with low power output and low running hours of a trials bike. I would also guess oil quality has improved over the last years. End result reliability... Providing you change it regularly!
  17. Oops, misread the post! There was also the Majesty 320 and some special 350cc made. I think the Rayer was actually a 320 as well.
  18. The USA had the big bore engine as a production bike
  19. Get the 175 into running condition and take your time restoring the cub which will be harder to do
  20. Still not that light at 81kg, only the same as the Heyes Tiger Cub but much better than standard. Talking to a spanish rider recently whos said his cub was down to 68kg and he lifted it to prove it.
  21. Spokes can be found at TY trials so now not a problm
  22. I was in Birketts when he did the modification. Much frustration as it had to all line up perfectly, probably wished he never took on the job. I think the rear swing arm may be a GasGas as it does not look like an original but could be my memory. There is a genuine RTL pedal on ebay at the moment
