Three laps of 16 sections if we can find the observers.
Three routes on offer but if you are unsure which route to ride...... drop down! It's not going to be an easy day out, especially if it rains!
There's not a single A route section I could even scrabble through. There again I'm not much cop!

We never see a TY80 despite having four routes at some of our trials, so I can't really say if they are finding it too hard nowadays.
I suppose it is inevitable that the modern small wheel bikes are going to be better, but does that mean there is no place for a TY?
-
Why do you say that?
Are the sections getting harder?
-
Let us know how it goes.
Good luck.

Be careful if you are going to try this.
I'd make a bet that you will either loose the chain off the back sprocket because it becomes too loose on maximum deflection or you will damage the gearbox because it is too tight on maximum compression.
It is true that not all bikes have chain tensioners but they are fitted for a very good reason.

I'm relying on Alan N to moderate Wrighty for the B route on Saturday. He was talking about BIG climbs everywhere!
I might leave the bike in the garage and drag out the video camera instead. It is definately going to be a muddy one!

Fender idea might be a good one but the footrest idea sounds like some big wheelies are on their way!

Yep, I had a feeling we were due for a wet RV this year.
At least I can make the graded hill climb straight up again for the first time since 2002..... get those head gaskets on order now!

Entries are now closed for the Stratford Upon Avon round of the Midland Centre Championships at Shennington on Sunday.
The 63 rider entry is headed by Beta rider S.Saunders.
With three routes available, there should be something for everyone but don't expect an easy ride around, the Clerk of the Course is Alan Wright!
Late entries are more than welcome on any route, up to the 100 rider limit.

Top farm is near Broadway, located on the Cotswold Hills above a small village called Buckland. Very friendly people, a good place to go for a few hours practice.
Click to see one of the practice sections.

There should be freedom of choice, however we (the general public) do need protecting from ourselves sometimes.
Riding without a helmet should not be encouraged, even if you are competing in an AMCA event or on a classic bike or even just practicing.

Here's another courtesy of Kinell and Steve Saunders. I have a feeling this will have appeared already on another thread.
So sorry if I've doubled up.

Sounds like a good idea.
It could easily be led by the ACU who could make it compulsory to state your frame number on the entry form. (As already happens in road racing.)
-
Bet it wasn't for the observer

TTS 80ml to 5L in the Scorpa SY.
Have always used exactly the same, even when I was riding LDT's on a Pampera.

Now you've started something
I rode the 4rt and the Sherco 4t before buying my Scorpa 2t. I didn't feel at home on the fourstrokes despite really wanting to like them.
It's what you are used to I suppose. I just got the feeling that my limited ability is flattered more by the 2 stroke. It's a personal thing and is probably the other way around for many.

Speed cameras finally cured me of that addiction. Still get the DT's on a Sunday though. Thank goodness for trials!

Anything that's easy. I'm way too old for anything dangerous
