Unfortunately it isn't ever going to happen in the UK. There's always some do gooder wanting to stop you from enjoying yourself and lets be honest the weather in Spain is better anyway.
-
I see Toni Bou's narrow victory in the Spanish Indoor Championship is not without controversy. Adam Raga's Dad is accussing the judges of being biased towards the Montesa mounted Bou.
Read the letter yourself, which is published on the Todotrial website.
Adam Raga's Dad's Letter
Let be honest Raga is not the most popular of riders but every rider should be treat fairly and without bias.

Enduro Cross, Trials Cross,
Am I missing something, are we now inventing new sports?
Next it will be Extreme Enduro Cross and Extreme Trials Cross.
and then
Extreme Street Enduro Cross and Extreme Street Trials Cross.
and then......
Freestyle Extreme Street Enduro Cross and Freestyle Extreme Street Trials Cross.
Bytheway I have a copyright on the above sports and as I invented them I am the World Champion.
So there!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Guisborough Club have Slape Wath, which is just outside of Guisborough and open at weekends.
-
i went to the World Round in Nigran, Galacia, North West of Spain in 2006 and the area was, very green, a beautiful coast and great mountains for trials.
-
I thought that thing died well over a year ago, compounded by not being able to purchase betamax parts?
-
-
Be interested to hear what happens with Doug as his contract is up for renewal with Beta and the advertising for Sheffield is 'Doug's last stand?'
I personally think he has got at least another two seasons, if not more still left in him. He's still the best British rider, by a long way and still is a huge talent.
Still the best trials rider in the history of the sport, without question....
If you add up all the world rounds wins of the five riders currently above Doug in the world rankings and they are still behind Doug's 99 wins.
-
Knowing how much people will spend to pimp up their montesa's, this will sell and what a bike to own.
Anyone phoned up for a test ride?
-
I suppose the BIG question is where is Doug going to be?
-
Wouldn't you just love it, if the deal for the Nigerian Consortium to buy Newcastle United was a big scam and Mike Ashley fell for it, sending his bank accounts details and some money up front......
-
I don't think it has dried up. Browny has made a good impression in his first season, beating Dibs on a couple of occassions, Wiggy will surely be making the move up, maybe not next year but certainly the year after, Doug is still still battling on in there.
We his face on the top of the podium for seven years consecutive and I don't think too many British fans felt the need for a fresh face then.
However I do think the series should make a return to the 2 day rounds.
-
Not quite the result we all expected from the British Team, but it happens. I'm sure they will be back to reclaim the title 2009.
-
Anyone remember James Caan in the 1970's film Freebie and the Bean, riding the Montesa over the stationary cars.
-
I had a tour round the USS Kittyhawk, when the Pacific Fleet, stopped off in Hong Kong on the way back from Operation Restore Hope in Somalia. Even though its one of the smaller US aircraft carrier, it still had over 30 aircraft in it.
Didn't find the drive thru McDonalds though!
-
Carla Calderer, now she makes Laia seem timid in comparison. I've seen her scream a torrent of abuse to her minder, when all they did was advise on the line in a section.
-
I'm pretty sure its a 4RT. Headlight, silencer, sump guard and rear wheel being the give aways.
-
Why not approach the manufacturer's direct, its not as if there's a huge number of them?
-
She does get the rub of the green but I suppose it goes with the territory of being a world champ. I once saw her five a section but the observer gave a three, which she argued to a one.
I wish I knew how to do that!
-
Sell these 20 Montesa's in Boss Hogg's contraband warehouse to the Chinese, the indians or the Reds. Those dudes are the new super powers......
-
After losing the 2007 WTC on the cruelest of rules (last goals the winner) it was good to see Laia Sanz back at the top of women's trials, not that she ever wasn't. At the moment she is way ahead of the opposition, however Becky Cook is becoming a serious challenger to Iris Kramer.
-
I would like to see one in the flesh, looks pretty radical.
-
You could always ask that idiot American bloke who I've seen on the telly who eats at least one everyday and reckons he has eaten over 23,000. His wife said '' i don't spend much time at the store shopping for groceries.''
-
Hot and dry, I would have come if it had been cold and wet. The TdN was great last year so I imagine that Andorra will be even better, even without Cheezy, chips and gravy.
